It is ridiculous. Perhaps about 2 months have passed. I bought things from two merchants from Japan and asked Buyee to consolidate. I was excited! WRONG. First, they took a few days to do it all, and then they never gave me a shipping option again. Of course, I sent messages and said they are on it, but never. Service is not doing any service because it is perhaps an AI-like system replying to me without checking, I can tell. My stuff is getting old in the warehouse, and no one cares. I cannot return merchandise and am stuck. I gave up. I am asking them to do right. I spend money, and I do not get anything in my hand. Be careful. They are not nice.

I have 10 packages stuck due to lack of shipping methods from Japan to Israel, despite the fact that other forwarders from Japan have been shipping packages perfectly for the past two months.

The customer service team was a great help when I first started using their service; I’ve already received my first order and it’s in good condition.

Their speed and service are good, whenever i would like to purchase an item they would get it done within minutes after my order most of the them. The only issue recently is that my consolidated packages are no longer having gst calculated when proceeding for payment after deciding shipping method. This causes delay for my package as i have to wait for payment notice from customs before my package is released to local delivery.

The rules about what can and can't be shipped does not make for a good shopping experience.
Why sell the items - make you pay for them - and then say we can not ship them to you.
Not good enough.

The experience was great only problem I could say is the shipping cost.

They let me purchase an item I have bought and posted so many times from Japan to Australia.

This time though they have decided that it is illegal to post this item, however this is not true. They have implemented a rule on a law which they do not fully understand.

IF the item is so restricted, why are they letting me buy it and charging me a fee? Very shady and shameful.

I ordered around 8 items through Buyee and waited several weeks for everything to arrive at their warehouse before requesting a consolidated shipment. The package was then rejected at Osaka customs and returned — because Buyee had entered the wrong weight. A basic data-entry error on their end.
What followed was over a week of silence. No one could tell me where my package was or why it had been rejected. Customer service sent felt like AI templated replies with same content with different nuances every time no clear solution to make me feel at ease , refused to call the Osaka export office directly, and left me watching my parcel bounce between the warehouse and customs with no resolution. These items were needed for an exhibition — the delay directly impacted the event.
When they finally responded substantively, it was to tell me they would no longer reply to the matter. My goods were effectively held hostage, so I had no choice but to pay shipping again — using card details that had to be shared with Buyee I can no longer trusted at all— to a company that had already demonstrated it couldn't handle very basic logistics as a international logistic specialist...
Their apology? A coupon worth a few hundred yen.
No phone support exists. Every interaction was evasive, slow, and self-serving. I've used Amazon, DHL, EMS, and other Japanese retailers such as Lawson Entertainment for international shipping without issue. The level of incompetence and indifference here at Buyee was genuinely shocking in this modern age of logistic..
I will not use Buyee again.

I always get what I am looking on time. But great one is compensation of damaged items by Buyee during handling to my area

I have never used this website before this incident. I wanted to buy something which was only available on this website, and I have NEVER had a worse and more unpleasant experience purchasing something.

First it lists the base price of an object and does not mention any of its many hidden fees. After you select an object, it starts charging you a ton of fees, from processing fees, to insurance, etc.

After you go through all these fees, considering you gave them your address and considering how blatently expensive the website is, you would assume that shipping was handled? No... First they sent me a message saying my order was fully processed which scared me as I had not received anything, only to find out that the website does not differentiate between an order being completed and the creator of the said order simply sending a thank you image. After the thank you image incedent. After a few days once my shipment reached the warehouse, I was instructed to pay the shipping fees. Not to mention in the same shipping fees page, it tells you that if you do not pay the premium prices for more exepensive shipping fees than the insurance you paid for is automatically voided.

Anyhow, after paying the shipping fees... A few weeks later I get a letter from the shipping company telling me I need to pay a vat charge... What the absolute hell???

I ended up in total paying a bit under 31 euros for a pack of standard but nicely-designed cards... When on other websites I could have gotten different designs, with everything included and none of this nonesense for 11 euros.

Scammers.

They will take your online card payments without any authorisation from your bank.

I used them twice. The first time involved two commissions, one for shipment internationally and one for domestic.

They have a process where they will check the item is in stock and available for purchase.

They will then make an order request for your payment. Then order the item, request a second payment for shipment, then send it.

They verified an item was in stock. They made an order request for me. Once paid, within 12 hours they emailed me that part of the order cannot be fulfilled. They immediately settled the card payment to prevent your bank from requesting payment reversals (which is not what they did with the first order) and then notify you that part of the order cannot be completed. The partial order they have decided to continue (without notifying you) will be irreversible and no refunds will be issued.

Now they have ordered a useless item that I will not be able to get. And cannot get a refund.

Don't use them. They are scammers.

My collector's edition product arrived damaged due to poor packaging. I got in contact with buyee and they said they don't pack the products and do the shipping with the seller's original packaging.
So I am not using buyee for special products anymore

Even 1 star is too generous. This company is nothing but scammers — avoid them at all costs. I purchased a watch in November 2025, and it still hasn’t been delivered. Their customer service team has absolutely no idea what’s going on, and every time I contact them, I get a different and contradictory answer.

I’m now filing a case with my payment provider for goods not received, and hopefully I can recover at least some of my money. Save yourself the stress and stay far away from this company.

Bought an item for approximately 22.85CAD. Had it sent to the Buyee warehouse for around 1500JPY, and should have totaled approximately 59.87CAD.

However, the seller packed the item in a oversized box that could have fit the same item three times, which tripled my shipping cost. Tried contacting Buyee, but customer support was very confusing to navigate and talk with, and in the end just gave up and finalized the shipping with outrageously expensive shipping fees, now totaling to around 94.23CAD.

I do not recommend Buyee.

on buyer it allows you to choose a method of shipping. It has another area to contact customer service for any requests. I have contacted buyer several times requesting that they do not send my items with UPS. UPS charges additional fees based on the value of of the item. That is why I requested bee not use UPS. Customer service was totally unresponsive on three occasions that I made the request.
