Firstly, the website says .ie but it is NOT Irish/Ireland-based, secondly, I took a day off work and waited for a courier who didn't arrive, thirdly, the laptop wouldn't connect to the internet, fourthly, returning it cost me €20 and they said it was scratched so charged me (no proof of damage). Never again.

Poor, poor service
Three weeks waiting on an order that was supposed to take 2-3 days, without any updates. After eventually reaching out, I was told the supplier is experiencing a shortage of stock — which in itself is perfectly understandable, but it is after this that the incompetence of their customer service really hit fever pitch.
I had to explain my situation from the start in every email response as there was a different customer service rep responding every time I emailed. Questions about refunds and updates on the order were constantly ignored because the previous emails in the chain either did not show up or because the rep did not bother to read them for context.
Four weeks later, after eventually having it confirmed that the supplier does not stock the order, I was given the option of an alternative item. After accepting, the customer service rep had the cheek to send me a bill for another €500 because they could not find me anything within the same price bracket.
This is a perfect example of a company who are happy to take your money but would not be bothered to look after you if your order experiences issues - and will happily squeeze you for more without hesitation.

I got good service again from Buy it…
I got good service again from Buy it Direct. The only issue was that I did not read their advert properly and did not see that the wardrobe was self-assembly. Also the cost of delivery at €100 was a bit steep. Otherwise the product was well engineered and easy to assemble and I am happy with the purchase

I bought a refurbished fridge freezer…
I bought a refurbished fridge freezer unit which was grade A2, it was a great deal. I ordered it for delivery I just want to thank the delivery men who got the fridge through my awkward back garden and into the house. I was not at home and my wife was in the house, they insisted on getting the fridge into the house and for that I can not thank them enough. So I hope the thanks gets back to them, they went above and beyond to help. We are new in the house and I do plan to make access better, thank you men. The fridge unit has also been brilliant. It's the second item I've bought with buyitdirect and id happily buy again. 5 stars well deserved.
