Long shipping times, poor support

Based in Germany, not UK based, long wait for parts, long time to answer questions, not worth the hassle or the wait. They have a .co.uk website address which is misleading.

Not UK based and long wait for parts

I placed my order for glowplugs. When I went to my basket there was a delivery charge of over £7 and a safe handling charge of over £3 on top of my glowplugs amount. Given I was paying over £10 for what I thought was postage I expected an enhanced speedy delivery. After a week all I'd received was notification that GLS were dealing with my delivery.
After making further enquiries I found that the safe handling charge was a payment so that I could return them within 100 days. It wasn't offered as an option but appeared on my checkout total.
I have since discovered that despite them having a .co.uk website address they are based in Germany. This explains the price and delay in me receiving them. I have complained to them and have been told that they should arrive by 9th June. I placed the order on 27th May. Do they really expect customers to wait a fortnight to fit parts to get their cars working?
In my opinion they are being deliberately misleading to attract UK customers. Stay clear of them if you want parts in a reasonable length of time.
