Just picked up our two girls couple days ago and they are beautiful!! Can't wait to see them grow. Process was very smooth from viewing online to picking up.

We caNNot say enough about our experience ordering , shipping , communication, receiving these precious fluffy family members! I especially like knowing that I can talk to the company owner about an issue -for any future issues that come up. We love the three silkies so much!
Once there is a warmer day, we will send a few photos. Right now it’s rainy here in Nevada County and they’re enjoying the radiant heat if anyone fells a chill , and some Napa cabbage to play with -:)

I bought a cheaper, pet quality pullet from the website, but the fact she was scissor beak hadn't been described before purchase. As it is "all sales final", and shipping was over $100, I have a very expensive chicken I can't even give away free. Still, I think they're planning on adding descriptions of them in the future list.
I'd also asked for as many males as could be shipped with her, and those were FREE. I probably would've been charged $25 each at a poultry show. So... Oh well.
I know now to ask what's wrong with the bird before buying. It's no big deal, which made my rating "average".

Don’t buy Silkies! They’re ADDICTING! They’re just the sweetest things. I was so happy with my silkie I purchased another one. Definitely will buy future silkies from Amber Waves! Debbie and her husband are amazing at what they do. You will get a clean and happy chick from them! Along with a little box to take the chick home, some food, and a brochure!

Chicks are healthy and beautiful. I recommend and will be purchasing more girls in the future.
