Useless company. Don’t buy from bychari especially if it’s a gift. It won’t arrive in time or won’t arrive at all. it’s been almost 2 months now that I ordered for a birthday gift. My order was finally shipped and returned to sender. The only explanation I was given is that the address was incomplete. It’s the same address that has always been used. Asked them to expedite shipment to Canada instead so a friend can bring the package with them when they travel. They are asking me to pay for shipping fees.

I ordered the VOTE necklace and huggie earrings in rose gold. The necklace; the letters are approximately 5 cm. tall. TINY! The chain is extremely thin and not connected to the clasp - my jeweler will need to fix that. The earrings; as hollow "tube" hoops, a part of the earring must lodge into the inner part of the tube/hoop, creating 1 continuous hoop. That piece is too short to securely lock the earring in place. Bychari claims orders are custom made and therefore no returns are allowed. NOTHING was custom about my order. From the poor quality of work, these are mass produced with NO quality control at all. Before a small discount, my order was $574 - an absolute RIP OFF! STAY AWAY FROM BYCHARI - DO NOT BUY!

I ordered the V O T E necklace 6 weeks ago, and I am yet to receive it. I reached out to Bychari twice. I will never buy from them again.

BYCHARI has not met their commitments with my order. After making the purchase on 9/1/20, I was sent a confirmation email stating that the production time for the necklace is 3-4 weeks. I contacted the company after 5 1/2 weeks (10/8) when I had not had any update regarding the status of my order. At this time, the customer service representative sent me a generic email with the same information that was in the confirmation. Not satisfied, I asked for a specific date when the necklaces would be completed. I received no information about this. Then I asked for a refund and they said this is not possible. Needless to say, I am not happy with the lack of ability to meet their stated commitments, the lack of proactive communication about the delay, and their lack of ability to take responsibility for the delay and provide a refund. On their website now, it says that VOTE necklaces ordered by Oct 6 will be delivered by Nov 3. Based on my experience, I find this hard to believe. Buyer beware.

I waited 32 days from order date to contact company for an update and received a generic response saying that 3-4 weeks quoted on website means business day.... whatever that means. They stated in this email dated 9-18-20 that necklace would ship by end of next week which would have been 9-25-20. Item was not shipped.

On 10-6-20 I contacted the company again and was emailed the same exact generic response. "Item is still in production and will ship by the end of next week" which would be 10-16-20. which would equate to 10 weeks from date of order of item promised in 3-4 weeks, and that's IF they actually follow through on their latest promise.
I tried to call the company via phone number on website and message said mailbox full unable to leave messages at this time. When I went to website on 10-6-20 to obtain customer service number website says VOTE NECKLACE ORDERS PLACED BY OCT 6TH WILL DELIVER BY NOVEMBER 3RD.

I purchased the VOTE necklace, worn by Michelle Obama during the DNC convention, on Aug. 18, and I'm still waiting for it. There is no way to contact the business, other than via email, and every unhappy customer in my position--there are many--received the identical response from someone named Sophie, claiming the production of the necklace takes 3-4 weeks in business days. The site listing just says 3-4 weeks, but that doesn't really matter because I'm way beyond the 3-4 weeks in business days, too. The business takes the money from your account immediately, despite taking months to deliver the product, if at all. But what really troubles me is there is no way to review the business or its products on its site. And any negative comments on their social media platforms are being deleted. That is not an honest, upfront way to do business, so I've come here to leave a true accounting of what happened to me. If you're thinking about ordering from bychari, just beware of the poor experiences others have endured from the company, while spending a lot of money with them. As a minority woman, the idea of supporting another minority woman-owned business appealed to me, but there are plenty of other worthy businesses to choose from, other than this one. I think this company may have been overwhelmed by orders, and they bit off more than they could chew. But they filled newer orders before the older orders, which was really frustrating. And they never released any updates or information to explain the lengthy delays. I appreciate honesty in business. I can understand if someone is suddenly swamped with orders for which they were unprepared, but to ignore paying customers, when there is a no refund policy, which I find egregious, is just unacceptable.
