Olivia was charming, helpful and knowledgeable about her wigs. So what could have been something stressful, (as losing hair due to chemotherapy), felt a relaxed and not unpleasant experience. Would definitely recommend her.

Great product, service and price

Found Olivia online after losing my hair to chemotherapy. She was excellent from start to finish. She made an appointment convenient for me between hospital appointments. She firstly measured my head and discussed what colour wig I would like as she does custom colour for you to be close to your original hair. As I am so indecisive I did go back a couple of times and nothing was too much trouble for her. My wig is very comfortable and so real looking. Would highly recommend to anyone going through hairloss Nicola x

I recently purchased my first wig from Hair by Olivia, and I couldn't be more happy with the entire experience. Olivia's personalised approach made the transition from toppers to wigs so much smoother for me. The telephone consultation was helpful, as she took the time to discuss in-depth how to wear wigs and answered all my questions.

The wig itself is absolutely stunning - I fell in love with it instantly! I booked the wig fitting and she cut the lace for me and patiently explained everything I needed to know about maintaining and styling the wig. The service was truly superb, and it made me feel confident and comfortable with my new wig.

I'm giving 5 stars for the wig. It's very long, full and voluminous and the quality of the hair is wonderful. It's the first wig I've bought that's pre plucked properly and the hairline is very realistic. However, though it arrived within 3 days by recorded delivery (which is great!) there wasn't confirmation that it was on it's way which is standard with online purchases. That said I will definitely buy again and understand that it'll come, but without any delivery confirmation etc!

If you're looking for ease and convenience of basic wig maintenance for your unit all in house i.e. one place, don't bother with By Olivia Hines.

Only after purchasing my wig was i told they dont do the fitting anymore. Fitting lady left. Ok no problem i found somewhere else for that. I requested and was promised pictures of the wig before having it sent out. But Olivia went on holiday for a week and didn't send the pictures however was getting a family member to quickly send the wig to me without the pictures first. Yikes! I thought, because I opted to have pictures to make sure i was happy with finished product before having it sent to me and wouldn't have the palaver and liability of sending it back in case it wasnt up to scratch. This is standard practice in the wig making business. But I had to wait a week longer for holiday to finish all because photos were forgotten about and was told no chance of them taking it out of the packaging to take the photos first. Hm.. why was it so hurriedly packaged and ready to go with no photos? Luckily the colouring turned out OK. Frontal a little on sparse side but not bad. I certainly didn't expect it to last and it hasn't.

Which brings me onto the main issue. Unfortunately I've been trying to reach out to Olivia to request a frontal replacement for over 10 days now, emails, whatsapp messages and calls get aired. Even if it's something they don't do I explained just providing me the frontal and colouring service is good I can go somewhere else for the alteration. I also said I understand its a busy Christmas period and I can wait a bit longer. Met with silence. No communication. Aired messages and calls. Yet they are still listed as open...

It's strange how before you hand over the money the talk and the customer service from them is on point. Once you've got the wig and paid money they don't want to know... I've been a more than patient customer. Not sure I'll be a repeat customer but maybe after they see this they'll reach out respond and make it right, as I always like to give small business owners a chance!
