I first ordered a discovery kit, to test the delivery and products, before buying a bigger perfume. The tracking info was up to date, the package came as expected. If I remember correctly it came from France all way to Romania. I also received a voucher to help me with the next purchase. The packaging is on point! looks amazing and feels luxurious. After this I ordered De Los Santos perfume. Had the same great experience. The website is informative and easy to use

I had a very frustrating experience with Byredo’s account system and birthday gift policy.
I was unable to enter my date of birth into the system. Creating an account was extremely complicated, and the only way I could successfully create an account was by leaving the birthday field blank. However, Byredo’s policy states that customers are eligible to receive a birthday gift (such as a hand cream or an 8ml perfume bottle) during their birthday period.
My birthday is coming up soon, and I wanted to purchase a full-size perfume while also receiving the birthday gift as advertised. I contacted customer service for assistance. Peter G responded very quickly and was helpful — he manually entered my birthday into the system for me. Unfortunately, because I am located in the US, the system reversed my birth month and day.
I followed up to clarify and correct this issue, but I received multiple responses stating that customer service could not fix it. I then asked for this issue to be escalated to a higher-level team. I waited a long time for a response while my birthday was approaching, only to be told that it was not guaranteed that my request could be accommodated.
This leaves me genuinely confused. What is the purpose of offering a birthday gift policy if customers cannot properly enter their birthday information into their accounts, and customer service is unable to reliably correct the issue?
While I appreciate Peter G’s quick response and effort, the overall experience was disappointing due to system limitations and the lack of a clear resolution.
I was following up on my order. I should’ve heard something by now regarding shipping, but I hadn’t. I emailed the support team regarding I couldn’t check on my order because it said it didn’t recognize my email. Then I tried subscribing and it wouldn’t let me put in my birthdate. Peter responded back quickly. Told me what to do then also checked on my order. He said one of the items was on backorder, which was holding up my order to be shipped. He made a couple of suggestions and I chose to have my order shipped without the backorder item and that I would take the voucher for that item. He then told me how to go onto the site and put in my email to be notified when the item would come back in stock. Peter was thorough quick to respond. I appreciated his suggestions and help. Thanks again Peter for superb customer service!
From the beginning website was not allowing to create account with any browser or gadget. When tried to search order it was saying not found. To get shipping confirmation needed to contact customer service! When product finally arrived it looked like it was used, I wanted a nice hand crème and the package was ok but not sure why the tube inside was crumpled.
One of the worst experiences. Had to return the item - no response what so ever. Customer service is a joke. They are not responding at all. The whole logistics is a bit dodgy. The goods come from Spain, so not sure what products are actually coming in.
