The sizing of the clothes was…

The sizing of the clothes was completely inconsistent and didn’t match standard measurements at all. Nothing fit as expected. I tried to get a refund, but got nowhere with their customer service. Instead, they offered me just a 20% refund and told me to keep the items, which is not acceptable given how much I spent.

I’ve essentially lost $495 on clothes I can’t wear. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I won’t be purchasing from this business again. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before buying from them.

Scam company!

Awful experience. Its a 'ghost store'. Not Australian as adverised. Its poorly made garments sent from China using cheap materials. My garment even came with a fault. They offered me a 15% refund, then 25% refund but didn't even process it.

Return Policy of this company is a joke.

Return Policy of this company is a joke.

Several emails to the company before a response was finally received offering a 10% refund instead of returning a dress I purchased for $69.95, as the return was to China. When advised I still wished to return the ill fitting dress, 20% was offered. On about day 28 of this correspondence, when stating I believed they were trying to get me passed the 30 day return I was finally given the return address. $27 postage to return it, by now it was the principle of getting the refund. Tracking purchased as advised to see the item arrived in China on 2/12/25 & simply sat in Customs. I lodged an inquiry in Jan, 26 with Australia Post who advised the receiver needed to contact customs. This information was given to Byron Bay Boutique who then responded stating the dress was being returned to me. When asked why, their response was 'thanks for letting us know you've returned the item, they'd be in touch'. Completely exasperated by now, I responded that they needed to read the actual emails, not send automated responses & that I would be lodging a dispute with PayPal. Miraculously, they refunded me the next day.

Cheap Chinese clothes, from a company that advertises it's Australian, with the worst returns customer service I have ever experienced.

Poor Customer Service

I purchased 2 outfits from this boutique with the understanding that I could return within 30 days for a full refund at my cost for return. I immediately requested to return items that were a poor fit. It has taken me 2 weeks and 3 emails, with photos of said items, to find out that I have to return the items, not to their Australian store - but to their Asian factory at a cost of $30-40 or alternatively take a 10% refund immediately and keep items! This is absurd. As they are advertising as an Australian company - I would expect to return goods to Australia. So my choice on returning a $69 outfit is to pay $40 and after posting only end up with $19 as a full refund or take a $6.90 refund & they don’t care what happens to the clothes!!!! The only winner in all of this is the company - please be aware of this if you purchase from this business
