Great communication, excellent tutoring.

All the decent teachers that can teach junior and senior level classes quit unfortunately.

The ease of going to C2 has been great.
My son struggled with some of the math but they reduced the difficulty and he seems to be doing better.

I strongly considered enrolling my daughter at C2 Education for SAT prep, but our experience during the initial consultation raised several red flags. They began by administering a diagnostic test, and surprisingly, she scored around an 1100—despite consistently scoring above 1400 on other legitimate practice exams. She mentioned that the test felt unusually difficult, and when I asked who created it, the center director reluctantly admitted it was developed in-house by C2, not the College Board. That alone felt deceptive.

Based on this questionable diagnostic, the center director pushed us to purchase an excessive number of tutoring hours, totaling thousands of dollars. We were told we had to pay upfront and sign a contract immediately. Her entire demeanor screamed high-pressure sales—she seemed far more interested in closing a deal than understanding my daughter’s needs.

The center director acted as if she’s was a college admissions expert, but all the advice she gave was laughably bad. I asked her where she went to school and what her background was. Let's just say, her international alma mater is nothing to brag about nor did she have any prior experience in education. The center director also promised individualized attention for my daughter, but a quick glance into the tutoring area showed cramped cubicles with one tutor juggling multiple students—clearly not the personalized experience we were being sold.

Looking at the other reviews on here, I’m so glad I didn’t enroll my daughter at C2. My heart goes out to all the families that have been scammed by this greedy, amoral company. C2 Education should be exposed for what it truly is: a SCAM!

The communication to get in for an assessment and the ongoing communication is really easy and I appreciate that I always hear back quickly. My son really likes the structure of the program and says he finds it very clear and helpful. And he is resistant to learning, so to hear him say this means a lot!!

The program works well and adjusts to my son’s ever changing schedule. And they help us still navigate getting his needs met.

So far it has been a positive experience!

Dylan loves the instructors - they explain concepts very directly with easy to understand language. Additionally the classes are easy to schedule

Center Director and administrative contact both have left from the Millburn, NJ, center. The disruptions were not properly managed. Disrupted the interim meetings on SAT preparation.
Teachers are great.

I had a similar bad experience, they are more focused on business than on educating our kids, their directors and managers are terrible, and I felt like they wanted to attract a lot of kids to make their business successful and sell them. I lost a lot of money here and no one is taking responsibility. I am preparing to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Center.

Great schedule choice

After years of brining my kids to c2. I Got my first chance to talk to the tutor and ask for specific areas we are looking for improvement on. Don’t be shy to ask they can make it happen. I wish I knew earlier

We paid $8,500 to this company for our daughter’s studies. We did not use their service since we found it it's different than what they told us. We have requested a refund for our money and were promised we would get a refund, but we never received the refund. They are no hostile to us and refusing to return our calls. Their office in Rancho Cucamonga is staffed with a very rude staff. They basically stole our money. We will file complaint with the attorney general and file a lawsuit.

How can a company exist like this? They are just tricking people! They are scamming families, playing with their hopes and dreams. They sold us a very expensive package, it was based on hours of study/teaching. They said we can use among siblings, freely and no expiration. So I trusted them and paid almost $9,000. My son was not benefitting so I tried to send my daughter and they said it expired. For months I been trying to beg them for tutoring or any refund because I worked so hard this is a lot of money for me. It was for my kids future. They are very cold and so rude. They said I can pay more and get more hours! This is unbelievable. Is anyone else in this scam?

Amy is amazing and always helpful in any way. Amazing Teachers who are always there to help out in anyway. Fionna is amazing she will go out of her way to make sure students get their work completed. Fionna has helped so much for my son with his college essays.

Our family has had an exceptional experience at C2 Education Sterling, where we’ve been supported for nearly 7 years. As immigrants to the U.S., we were unfamiliar with the school system and the college application process. From the very beginning, the Director took the time to meet with us, providing a clear timeline and detailed steps to help our children navigate the path to college. She went above and beyond, offering guidance through the application process and ensuring that our kids had all the information they needed to increase their college opportunities. She knows each child by name, making them feel welcome and at home as they enter C2’s doors. Her dedication and attention to detail were key in matching our kids with tutors who were a great fit for them and coordinating their schedules to ensure everything ran smoothly.
The tutors at C2 have been incredible, providing not only SAT preparation but also ongoing support to help my children improve in areas where they needed extra help. Thanks to their hard work, my kids saw significant improvements in their test scores and received positive responses from colleges.

We worked with C2 Education, Susan, and Matt in Westport CT this past year. My 17y/o has ADD and needed help with her study skills and test prep for the SATs and organizational help with her college applications. They were wonderful, flexible, and diligent. The tutors were smart and approachable (especially Maggie!) Her test scores increased and she is now receiving positive responses from the colleges she is interested in! I highly recommend them!

From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facility is clean, bright, and filled with engaging toys and activities. The staff members are not only highly qualified but genuinely care about each child’s well-being. They take the time to get to know each child individually, celebrating their unique personalities and interests. My little one has blossomed in their care, forming friendships and learning new skills every day. The daily updates and photos they provide make me feel connected and reassured while I'm at work.

My daughter's SAT scores lowered after spending the money for a tutoring package. She often came home saying she worked on her own during the session. I do not feel like the experience was worth the expensive price tag.

There is a need for better specialized tutors. It will greatly help to support the transition from tutor training to application in real class. School curriculum is different than AP exam. Subject matter experts are needed beyond just AP curriculum. Thank you
