Excellent customer service

Initially thought I recv'd an incorrect order as several items were missing. Turns out, my order was split into two parcels and within days recev'd the complete order. Good products - horrible customer service

Boody makes a good product, but their shipping and customer service have been a very negative experience for me. I placed a large order at the end of November, only to discover that Boody now charges an expensive customs fee that wasn’t required when I ordered last year. The order was supposed to arrive before mid‑December, so I waited an extra week and checked the tracking number daily. It became clear the shipment was stuck, and eventually the carrier reported the package as damaged.

I contacted Boody immediately. They replied at first, but never followed through with any solution. It has now been over six days since I reported the issue, and nothing has been resolved. They are no longer responding to emails or phone calls. With Christmas Eve tomorrow, I’m now without the gifts I ordered.

What’s most frustrating is that if Boody had acted when the package was first flagged as damaged, they could have re‑sent the order and it might have arrived in time. Instead, I’ve been left without the items I paid for, despite also paying a hefty new customs fee. Their lack of care and customer support has been extremely disappointing.

I still like their products, but this experience has caused unnecessary stress and has left me very upset. I hope they eventually fix the issue, but it’s too late for Christmas, and the whole situation has been deeply disappointing.

UPDATE: After a lot of effort, Boody did eventually address the issue. Unfortunately, many items originally ordered were then out of stock. They did their best to find close replacements. At the end, I did get my order. It was well into January, and long past Christmas, which was disappointing for the Christmas presents. Overall, the customer service was very challenging and could be improved significantly. Regardless, I do like their products, but I will be hesitant to order again after this experience.

Regarding the customs fees you mentioned, we understand this can feel unexpected. Just to give a little context: all orders from ca.boodywear.com are shipped from our warehouse in Georgia, USA. Customs and import duties are automatically calculated based on your order total and the items you purchase. These fees are shown at checkout through our Delivery Duties Paid (DDP) service, so everything should be covered and smooth on arrival.
If a previous order didn’t have duties, it’s usually because the order total or items didn’t meet the threshold this time.

We sincerely regret that this order didn’t reach you in time for Christmas, and we understand how frustrating that must have been.

Order never showed

I guess I should have known that this would happen, especially since they use DHL to ship stuff up here. It's so weird because I actually had my first order from them show up fine, so I decided to grab some more, only they said they delivered it yesterday only they never did. Maybe pull that trick on someone who's office doesn't face their front door. Other packages and a repair man showed up, but no order from boody. I only realised this when I thought it was strange I still hadn't heard anything about my order, only for them to claim they delivered it yesterday. Huge waste of money, used to love this company, a store in my neighborhood stocked their stuff before they stopped supplying them. At least my first order showed up, although the packaging on them was kind of suspicious and weird. Never spending money on these guys again

Their sizing is WAY OFF!

Their sizing is WAY OFF!! I ordered according to their measurements and the bras barely fit over my shoulders! Don't listen to their size guide at all.

Their return portal is exclusively American, so even when you order from Canada, you are forced to calculate your reurn is USD which is ridiculous! And even if you order from their Canadian website, the product comes from the US so beware.

And their customer service is so bad, they took 5 days to respond to my email and then offered no help other than to "note my concerns". Never ever again will I shop with Boody.

Just a heads up

Just a heads up - the bra I received has a foam insert enclosed in a non-accessible cup. The insert on my bra was completely crumpled and folded in half and I think somehow upside down. Needless to say with no access to the inside of the cup, I had to spend a couple of hours trying to figure out how to unfold the pad and get it to lie flat within the cup. Frustrating and needless. I finally got it but will send back if it happens again.

Duties really high to receive product in Canada

I really want to shop the current sale as I enjoyed my last products but - the taxes and duties I paid when receiving my package - was super high . Like 1/3 to one half of my order . It didn’t make the sale worth it. I live in Canada and I thought this was a Canadian brand but it shipped from the UK

Very Comfortable

I am only giving 4 stars because I had a bad customer service experience but they corrected the issue so that was great. I really like the underwear and was worried that I wouldn’t be purchasing again. My only complaint now is that the T-shirt bra doesn’t come in grey!

Love the products, hate the shipping situation

I do love their products, underwear and loungewear especially. It all feels really nice on the skin and everything washes really well. But like many others, I am pretty disappointed that they no longer have a warehouse in Canada. They had a phase where they shipped to Canada from a UK warehouse, and are now currently shipping from a USA warehouse. The very first time I ordered Boody, I didn't have to pay any duties, but these last two times, I have had to. Like $20-40 CAD extra depending on my order. Kind of lame.

I used to love this brand

I used to love this brand. They recently consolidated their warehouses and are shipping to Canada from the USA. So our money is going to the states, which is terrible at a time like this.

My orders used to come straight from Vancouver! Once from the UK: these are much better options.

When I asked to cancel the moment I saw that my order confirmation was coming from Boody US they still shopped it out, saying “they couldn’t stop it”. I asked for this change the literal moment I received my email though.

When I voiced my concerns they tried to pitch new products to me. No understanding of the relevant situation.

I guess I’ll never be able to buy from them again.

Hoping for better

These are very similar to the pj pants aside from the elastic band. They are also shorter than I expected. Overall I was expecting something a little more with these pants, they just feel like another pair of pj pants not lounge. I didn't plan on wearing these out of the house, but I couldn't even if I wanted to.

Boody for years

I have ordered from Boody for years and never had my trouble. I was a little surprised when my last on January 2025 was shipped from England but it arrived just fine.
Many people giving one star reviews seem to forget that when Canada Post was on strike in November 2024, other delivery services stopped shipping from outside Canada and internally were limiting the number of parcels they would process.

I guess I am not alone

I guess I am not alone - delivery issues. Ordered in November, the order is apparently sitting at Heathrow Airport where it has been since mid-December.

If I do not see the order before the end of December I will call my credit card company to reverse the charge and cancel the order. Not again.

Boody does not reply to emails with exception of automated responses. Exceptionally poor customer service.

If I could give negative marks

If I could give negative marks, I would. My order was placed Oct. 31, 2024......lots of lead time for receiving items meant as Christmas gifts, right? WRONG. I have yet to see any sign of shipping progress. Initially, customer service feigned interest and even promised a re-shipment of the items about three weeks ago. Now there is no evidence that this has happened and still no sign of the original order. To make matters worse, customer service is no longer responding to my queries about the whereabouts of my order. In the midst of this waiting I'm getting repeated requests for rating the merchandise I have yet to receive. Are they serious???? I will NEVER recommend this company nor order from them personally again. This is unfortunate as the reason I ordered as much as I did this time ($350+) was because a previous order was terrific.

Disappointing, poor customer service, 14 days after ordering and my order is still not processed, would not order again

I placed an order Dec 1, and at the time, the order confirmation stated 2-5 business days to process the order. It is now more than 10 business days, and no email from the company to let me know the order is enroute. I contacted them after 5 busines days and was told they would expedite my enquiry however that was 6 days ago. It's now been 10 business days with no sign of my order being processed. I have sent several emails since, with no response. Finding the link to email the company was very challenging on the site, and there is no contact phone number that I can see at all. I am very disappointed with the service and responsiveness. This was to be a christmas gift for my daughter however the items now will not arrive in time. I have requested to cancel my order but no response. I will be contacting my credit card company to reverse the charge. They were quick to charge my card when I placed the order, but so incredibly slow to process the order or respond to my enquiries. Not happy at all!

Flawless customer care

In a recent purchase I received a faulty bra, which was a bit of a pain BUT the customer service I received to rectify the issue was exemplary! From getting in touch with Boody to getting my replacement bra delivered, 4 days! Couldn't ask for better service than that, especially considering how slow Australia Post can be at this time of year. This experience just added to my satisfaction level of this amazing brand, I am a Boody customer for life now. Simply the best xx
