Why Cab Crate exists Long days in the cab are the job. Planting starts in April and you don't look up. Harvest starts in August and you don't look up until October. Somewhere in there you're supposed to eat. Most of us end up at Casey's or Kum & Go at 6 a.m., grabbing the same beef stick, the same bag of seeds, the same Mountain Dew. It's fine. But after the third week of it, "fine" starts to wear thin. Cab Crate is what that morning stop could be if someone actually planned for it. Real jerky from a third-generation butcher in Illinois. Caramel corn from a family recipe older than your combine. A seed tube brush that shows up the week you're switching from corn to beans, because someone on this end knows the calendar. How we source Every product in a Cab Crate earns its spot. We only work with makers we can talk to — small-batch butchers, veteran-owned jerky shops, family popcorn operations, competition pitmasters, although sometimes we might find something else worth including. Three things we look for in every box: Familiar flavors, done better. Not Brooklyn food club territory. The upgraded version of what you're already eating. A real story. Third-generation butchers. Veterans. Family recipes. People with dirt under their fingernails. Built for the cab. 55°F mornings in April, 100°F afternoons in July. If it can't handle the cab, it doesn't ship. We're a seasonal crate for the specific job of sitting in a tractor cab for 14 hours. Built in the USA. Shipped nationwide.
