We recently stay at Blackberry Ridge…

We recently stay at Blackberry Ridge Cabin in Townsend TN. It was a great experience from the awesome views from the rap around porch and hot tube. Plenty enough room for a family of four. Loved it definitely recommend!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We rented a cabin with this company last year, and we were downgraded at the last minute and told this house was our only option. Not having much of a choice so close to our trip date, we stayed Big Bear Retreat for our family getaway and we could not believe the condition of the house when we arrived! It was apparent this "Luxury" cabin had not been cleaned in a LONG time. The floors were sticky and black. My 3 year old's feet were black after just a short time in the house. We had to keep shoes and socks on the entire time we were there. The cabin was INFESTED with roaches! They were in the bathrooms, the kitchen, crawling down the living room walls and across the floors. They were even in the dishwasher!! We bought a bunch of food to host an early Thanksgiving dinner and were thoroughly disgusted with the condition of the kitchen we had to cook in. The Fridge was busted and the shelves were falling out of the doors. The kitchen hadn't been stocked with adequate paper goods, trash bags or even hand towels. The pool table was stained and gross, the air hockey table was broken and falling apart. The dining table on the back deck was a safety hazard, the glass top was broken and falling off! The back deck had a lovely view of strewn garbage, bottles and solo cups. The front entry was surrounded by garbage and debris. To top it off my husband was bitten numerous times by a mystery bug that produced huge welts and were severely itchy. This place is gross, and not worth your money. DO NOT STAY HERE!

A short get away and a wedding

My best friend was getting married in Gatlinburg. I decided to turn it into a get at for 2 at the same time. Finding and booking the right cabin was made simple. The staff called me a few times to ensure our cabin would be ready by the time we got there. Check in was a breeze, the directions they provided made it easy to find. The courtesy call to ensure that we didn't need anything was a nice touch. We are already planning our next stay.

The cabin was gorgeous

The cabin was gorgeous. It was located at the best spot on the strip with easy access to the attractions. The only drawback to the cabin is that there were no dish clothes to wash the dishes. There were no potholders. The cabin slept 8 but there were not enough dishes for everyone.

We stayed in the Beary Welcome cabin

We stayed in the Beary Welcome cabin, it was great, clean, everything worked, service was excellent, everybody we met was fantastic, the only problem we had was the furniture in the living room was wore out, looked great but just older!!! The bed was very comfortable, hot tub was wonderful we played pool for hours!!! Thank you for the best time!!!

Very Nice

The cabin was nice and clean and ready on time. We enjoyed the resort and it made our anniversary wonderful. My only complaint is getting a hold of Customer Service is nearly impossible by phone. That is offputing. Thankfully, we had no major concerns and the cabin was great, or we would've been upset.

Irish Mist cabin infestation of cockroaches!

My family and I planned a Labor Day vacation. We traveled 8 hours, took off from work, and it was our only vacation this year. We arrived on Friday evening Sept 1st and a few things we noticed was the cabin was not as clean as expected due to paying cleaning fees. The tubs were filthy, we found hair in one of them, there were many spider webs, and dust about the cabin. The refrigerator did not work and we could not put our food up and had to keep it chill until maintenance came out with ice. The hot tub lights did not work, and that had to be addressed as well. Later that evening we could not get in the hot tub due to some form of chemical that was added into the tub. We all got in and had to immediately get out because of how strong the chemical smell was and it was irritating our skin. We called maintenance and they came out the next evening and could tell that something was definitely poured in the hot tub. He drained it completely, flushed it out and filled it back up but said it would take 5 hours to reheat. We also had to have maintenance look at the oven because the top surface worked but the oven did not. While he was there we had enquired about if they spray for bugs because we were noticing a few. He stated they do not but have an outside source that comes in and sprays but they would have to call if needed. During all of this time, we tried keeping a positive outlook and enjoy ourselves because our children were there and it was supposed to be a great time for family. We ended up leaving for the day to run some errands for a movie night since it was raining and we were planning to grill the next morning since the weather was supposed to be nice. When we got back that evening we started noticing actual roaches crawling all over the place. The few bugs that I thought I was seeing were actually baby roaches. I have taken photos for proof because I have never seen anything like this is my life! We immediately called the service number and they basically told us we could leave and get a hotel room at 12 o'clock in the morning, they didn't have any place to put us and that they would call and get it sprayed the next day. We had children with us and our pregnant niece. There was no way to just leave at 12am and we barely know how to get around at day light. How could we make sure we were all safe at 12am? This has been a nightmare and our cabin cost us $1300 for 3 nights and 4 days. We had to throw all of our food out, bag up our clothing, and leave the next day. We have begun disputing charges and since we did that the help desk said basically we can leave there is nothing they can do for us since we've begun to do so. We have since arrived at home and cannot bring our clothing inside and have had to leave them all outside for fear of bringing roaches into our homes!
