Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Never buy from them.
Firstly I emailed them to cancel my order literally with in a few minutes. No response to that email and boots were dispatched nonetheless. Next I wanted to return. Apparently sale boots return is not free. Obviously since I initially wanted to cancel it which they did not, the return has to be paid by me.
Thirdly, i sent the returns to the address mentioned on the website which is a fulfilment center and the return was delivered but no response from the company yet. I have emailed them but clearly no one checks emails here. Its a waste of time and money. I doubt they will read this review either. But i am putting it out here for the benefit of others

Very disappointing - boots do not match size guide and very slow customer service
I found some great looking boots, that were described as durable and suitable for country walks - just what I needed. I checked and checked the size guide as I have big calves, but was assured that the boots (Burleigh) would fit.
Sadly, when they arrived, they didn't. I could barely zip them up. I took photos of the measurements of the boots and demonstrated that they didn't match up with the size guide available online.
Customer service have been very slow - and I need to pay to return the boots. They say that they stand by their sizing guide, despite me proving that the boots I received are not the same as the guide.
They did offer to replace the boots with another style, but given the sizing guide is misleading, I don't want to risk it.
Lastly - the company doesn't seem 100% - the website is Cabotswood.com, the customer service contact is @footwearbrands.co.uk and their business name in the Contacts is Long Ashton Shoe Company.
I've also noticed that the boots I bought have been significantly further reduced in price.
