DO NOT BUY FROM CADOLA

Immediately after ordering a watch from Cadola, it was cancelled and I was told that I can expect a refund in 7-10 days. Cadola accepted my payment immediately, then cancelled my order in less than 1 minute but cannot return my money for 7-10 days. I notified Cadola of my displeasure and was inundated by their excuses. Their support was a waste of time and amounted to further frustration. I would rate my Cadola experience as 0 stars if that was an option.
*** the unfortunate Cadola response below demonstrates how they continue to make excuses for their bad business process. Excuses solve nothing but do demonstrate an entity that rejects growth opportunity by blaming their own failures elsewhere.
*** additionally, Cadola chose to treat it's customer very poorly instead of trying to gain a customer by treating them fairly and graciously. Translation: Cadola customer support and sales were poor. Poor business practice reflected in multiple areas of business indicates that poor business practice is likely systemic at Cadola.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Your order was canceled because our payment gateway flagged it as potential fraud. In these cases, the payment is voided immediately after processing.

The decision to flag or block a transaction is made entirely by our payment gateway's automated fraud detection system—we do not control this process. We cannot process an order unless the payment gateway approves the transaction. This system is in place to protect both the customer and the seller from fraudulent activity.

While the authorization appears on your account instantly, the timing of the void is determined by your financial institution. In most cases, voided payments are reflected within 3–5 business days.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. Safety and security are our priorities, but we understand this created a frustrating experience.

DARTMOUTH BRANDS - A SCAM

I ordered two watches on February 15th. My items are now in Spain - my destination country . Customs has held them for proof of payment and origin selling price. Cadola has provided zero documentation and has completely ignored my support emails. Because they won't provide a proper commercial invoice, my watches are stuck.
Despite multiple requests from me and by FedEx, their carrier, Cadola have gone quiet and have kept my money.
Discounted prices and offers are meaningless if customer services do not support Customs assistance with the correct documentation supplied.
WARNING
Be very careful ordering from them in the EU—once they have your money, they stop communicating if there is a shipping problem.
And if you think you are supporting a micro brand think again. You have been bluffed.

Its not just Cadola - they are part of a bigger group called Dartmouth Brands Ltd which is a subsidiary of Solar Time Ltd in Hong Kong.

They position themselves neatly in the "honest micro brand market" but the reality is Cadola is about as non-micro as you can get, sitting as it does as branded goods in a much larger ecosystem that included AVI-8, Spinnaker, Thomas Earnshaw, Duxot, Nubeo, RGMT, Ballast, James McCabe, Dufa, Cortebert, and Fjord.

If you think you are supporting a microbrand with Provenance you are going to be sorely disappointed. They have zero integrity- all you are doing is pouring money into a Chinese production line.

This is fundamentally a cash-cow built on the deception of small brands designed to assume loyalty. The truth is that there is zero customer focus, zero social responsibility or ethics. It comes down to large scale profit filtered through an organisational structure of companies with limited financial exposure outside China. Once they have your money, when the box leaves their shipping department they wash their hands of you and your money and any recourse you thought you had lie in a legal jurisdiction without any accountability.

Take this as a hard warning. These are cheap watches that cost a few dollars to make, falling of a high output chinese production line.

Do your research, find genuine micro brands with heritage who pour love into their products and pride in to the privilege of enjoying your custom.
This lot are a scam.

Cadona watch not working on arrival.

I have been sent a watch this week and it is DOES NOT WORK. it is worn and the tag was separated from the watch. It is clearly a customer return.

To say it was half price at £126 is a joke. It looks like a customer return as the leather strap is worn.

I'm trying to send it back but there is no phone number and they are not replying. Fortunately I bought it on a credit card so if I have no luck I will approach them.

MY ADVICE IS TO AVOID THIS COMPANY COMPLETELY.
