I was looking after an article for a few months from and old book from them, so I sent them a message if by chance they could send me a copy, and after one day I already have the article, for what I'm thankful

I edited a Focus Issue in the journal Current Issues in Molecular Biology (CIMB) from Caister and I can only say that it has been a real pleasure to work with them during the development of this project (Bacterial Evasion of the Host Immune System). Our first Edition of the Illustrated Dictionary of Parasitology in the Post-Genomic Era, is about to be launched to the market. It has been an exciting journey. The help and support we received through the whole process was very satisfying. Several cycles of proofreading, and flexibility to accommodate our requests and suggestions. Everybody was friendly and professional during the whole publishing process. I published my first book with Caister Academic Press and now this book and definitely, I will consider publishing my next book with the same publisher.

The peer-review process for my two manuscripts submitted to the Current Issues in Molecular Biology last year was professional and rapid. The comments were constructive and helpful for improving the manuscripts. The editorial office updated the proofs in the same day after I provided my corrections on proofs! It was very impressive. The publication process was very rapid after the manuscripts had been accepted.

This was the third time I edited a book with Horizon/Caister.

Relative to previous books, an important improvement: free color Figures.
The lack of support for “old” duties such as index elaboration: the only cons.

Satisfying work together

It was a pleasure for me to work with Caister Academic Press on our book entitled Helicobacter pylori (appeared in 2011). I enjoyed my freedom as an author and Editor as well as the complete understanding of the people who work here.
