10/10 cakes but service needs improvement.
The cakes themselves were amazing. I know my cakes! And these are so light and airy and tasty. I prefer eggless cakes just because they are nicer. Popped in today for the first time. We chose the coconut dream and red velvet berry which were so nice. The coconut one will be my fave. Presentation is 10/10 right down to the boxes you get them in.
What marked it down for us was the service. Guy behind the counter wasn't welcoming. We mentioned it was our first visit and we had heard good things and he barely acknowledged this. Just didn't seem like he wanted to be there or was interested in engaging. This needs improvement for me to reach the level of the cakes

The cake was delivered on time tasted…
The cake was delivered on time tasted wonderful.
How ever didn't have the football print cuff so that was disappointing as it during look like the picture .
I tried to report it on the Bromley site but it's didn't work so sent a email to the main office

Great deal
Delicious tasting cakes got two for a joint birthday party. The sizes of the cakes were bigger than expected. Everyone enjoyed the cake so much I was asked by several people where I got them from. Great service also from the Erdington branch I was delayed in picking them up and they made every effort to keep them safe until I could get there.
The price for the size of the cake was brilliant the two cakes together fed a party of 50 people with spares.

Very dissapointed…
We always buy cakebox but on this occasion the cake tasted stale the cream was inedible. My grandsons birthday cake had to go in the bin. I emailed and received no answer!! from you. So unlike my previous experience with cakebox.

Went to collect our "rosette picture…
Went to collect our "rosette picture cale" no picture on it, so the girl then proceded to bring it out with only writing on it but taped the box so only half way home when my husband checked it and realised. Had to then go back and she was confused when i asked "theres no photo!" she then had to facetime someone to print a photo as she didnt know how to do this, which took 35minutes as i stood in store. The inage was then put on top of the writing which you could see through the image! unacceptable when paying £65 for a cake.. i appreciate the staff member may have been inexperienced however to try and tape the box up when first asked wasnt good enough.
