Oh my gosh, this is such a hidden gem!! Was googling frantically to try and find a last minute cake - that was still fancy and delicious and Cake Run did not disappoint!! Actually tasted like cake and everyone was sooooo satisfied and wanted more!! Will be using all the time!!

Excellent communication from the staff, who fixed up my error when I placed an order for the wrong date. The recipient of the Vegan Chocolate Mudcake had very high praise for the cake and it's presentation. If be happy to order again.

Late delivery
I ordered a cake on the Monday morning for Friday and even though it says delivery between 9am to 5pm, i ordered fairly in advance and the cake didn't arrive until 4.30pm on Friday, most of the office staff was already gone and the delivery driver was lucky there was still someone to receive the cake.
How much in advance do i need to order if even a week early doesn't garantie the cake arrival at a reasonable time?

For our standard Anytime Delivery service, cakes are delivered between 9am and 5pm, and your order arriving at 4.30pm was within this timeframe. Ordering further in advance doesn’t change the delivery time, as our drivers follow set routes based on location and daily orders. If you require delivery by a specific time, we recommend using our VIP Delivery option, which allows you to nominate a preferred delivery window. We hope this helps for future orders.

Great cake, but service improvements needed
Cake was amazing in quality but comes presliced unfortunately - I inquired and was told it can only come presliced. Looks unusual with 'Happy birthday' decorations on it. Delivery could be a bit smoother, at least a courtesy text stating "your cake is expected to be delivered between 1-2pm today" like AustPost does, rather than an inconvenient "anytime" delivery where you have to sit at home waiting all day. Cake is also expensive, even compared to other cakes at more prestigious cake shops, but it makes up for it with the quality. Would I buy again? Yes.
