I had an issue with a leakage with the draining pipe in my kitchen sink. I emailed Cala house , customer services. address to Kerry Atkins. She responded in less than 12 hours. She addressed the issue straight away. With full and complete update of how she was handling this complaint. She allocated the job to a gentleman called Chris Denny who attended promptly and fixed the issue. Both Kerry and Chris have acted professionally, both equally polite.
I have met Chris in the past to fix another issue, he was very good on that occasion too, gentle, honest, polite and a good listener. I fully trust Chris and Kerry, they are both treat customers with great respect and kindest.
Wish both good luck in their job, they are both good asset for the company if Cala House.

My wife, toddlers and I recently moved in to Weaver’s Brae, and can’t thank Ellis and Gillian enough for all of their help.
When we first enquired and had our first meeting we hadn’t even put our house on the market but Gillian explained the entire process to us and answered any and all questions we had (which was quite a few!) a week later, our house under offer and the property we wanted still available, we took the plunge.
While moving is never easy we were probably more aware of what was going on with our property than normal thanks to all of the help we received. Whether that’s answering questions about broadband provider on a random Thursday or the information giving meeting on a Sunday afternoon, Ellis and Gillian were more than helpful.
Since moving in the site team, especially Kyle, have been exceedingly professional and helpful in dealing with any snags or concerns we have.
All in we have had a brilliant experience moving with Cala.

Cowboys - no way near a 5 star company. The plumbing in my house is not fit for purpose, after logging my 5th plumbing issue in 12 months (this time a burst pipe which has lifted the floor in my kitchen and damaged my kitchen unit) I’m told that it’s my fault as it was caused by frost. I’ve had an independent plumber out who has compiled a report showing that the outside tap feed has been installed incorrectly - the report states that in the current configuration it will burst again next winter. With 1 years builder warranty outstanding they’re blanking me, very very poor. If anyone within Cala’s aftercare team is interested my incident ref is 2659651. Fortunately for me, I live directly opposite the show homes for the next phase in my development - I have a 25 foot banner on order which is going up to warn prospective customers, STAY AWAY FROM CALA!!!

Gardens with the drainage capacity of a clay pot, a double driveway that required a multi-point manoeuvres to get into, raw sewage leaching into communal areas, landscaping that is incomplete after 4 years. The topper is an experimental hybrid heating system that even their installers don’t understand and is expensive to maintain.
Their sales engine is 5 star though. If I knew then what I know now……….

As a first time buyer, the prospect of buying a new home has been very daunting and overwhelming. I found my whole experience with Cala very negative. The sales staff at were standoffish and difficult to deal with.
I’m glad we are no longer buying from Cala as I don’t trust in the quality of their builds and am glad I no longer feel the dread of dealing with their staff.

Cala wasted three months of our time. They gave us two weeks to exchange contracts then told us our reservation was cancelled after false advertising of our boundary’s and PV panels.
We went to a local competitor and move in next week and the process was so smooth it’s almost embarrassing that Cala still have not sold the property we reserved with them 6 months later.
We feel so happy we did not continue with cala’s unorganised nightmare at Finchwood park the ridge.
Rude sales staff, poor communication, false advertising the list is endless. For your own good. Don’t trust these people.
