Bought a used Toyota Alphard campervan a few months ago (converted by Calder Campers) and received a great level of service. The sales process was relaxed and focussed on our needs. After sales support has also been great and helpful. We’re very happy with the campervan and with Calder Campers.
I bought a converted Toyota Campervan from Calder Campers in 2021. I have enjoyed several thousand miles of trouble free driving since then, but recently had a flat tyre. When I went to put the spare on the vehicle I discovered that it was original to the vehicle, which dates from 2006. The tyre was completely perished and unusable. I just want to warn anyone who is thinking of buying a converted camper van from this company to ask them to replace the spare tyre. The kind of spares on a vehicle of this age are the get you home at no more than 40mph which I was told by Kwikfit have a useable life of 10 years. When I spoke to the owner of the company about this she was quite unhelpful and completely unconcerned about sending out vehicles without addressing this basic safety issue, although she did offer to reimburse the cost of a spare tyre but not at Kwikfit rates.
