Late delivery, damaged every panel on the vehicle with spark / cutting damage, electrical problems and all round poor service and drilled through the skin of my van.

Cancelled my warranty half way through because I had too many claims. I could go on but I know they will dispute this review and I've picked the easiest things to prove.

Everything is OK until there is an issue then you're on your own.

Now in liquidation-not paid their suppliers for parts and took customer deposits. All guarantees invalid for your purchased vehicles.
Purchased cvan Feb 2023. Presales blarney by Martin 5*. Postsale 1* with catalogue of issues eg wrong size window covers, drivers seat rear cover broke on arrival, front spoiler only screwed through bumper plastic so it rattled off and smashed, parasitic draw on vehicle battery was due to them routing rear lights and USB from van rear light not leisure battery..on all these issues raised they ignored my correspondence.

Caledonian Campers brought in Mark Sheffield from Arnold Clark and promoted him to Operations Manager. He obviously applied the Arnold Clark business approach which ended up in CC's demise. He's now off to Lookers Jaguar/Landrover Glasgow as aftersales manager. Beware the poor service and business approach here now that he's arrived. You'll never get an honest answer. You have been warned

Recently bought a new VW Transporter campervan from the team at Caledonian Campers. Had been looking online for a while at the many (many!) options out there e.g. VW California, 2nd hand, part conversions etc. Decided to give Martin a call to pop in to discuss and I wasn’t disappointed! He spent a couple of hours (I was only supposed to have a 1 hour slot!) talking us through the various options out there / what Caledonian could do / answering my many rambling questions. Was absolutely fantastic: he took us through a demo of the vans; openly discussed benfits and negatives of the VW vs other options; gave us a tour of the workshop; and at no point was pushing hard for a sale. Once we had decided to go for it, Martin was incredibly helpful and guided us through all aspects of the sale, including other things like arranging finance / insurance and the value (or not) of certain optional extras. Really enjoyed my experience with Martin and the team - would definitely recommend! The van is amazing!

Martin and the team at Caledonian Campers were tremendous to deal with. Caledonian offer a level of luxury and quality in their Campervan conversions that is hard to beat, and this is backed up by the quality of service.
They are flexible to your demands, happy to help in any way needed to make sure you get the right outcomes during the process, and beyond. They have amazing insight in this area and are always happy to give you an honest and open view of what you should do when it comes to buying and using the vehicle.

They are the VERY people to go to for your camper. Very experienced. Very helpful. Very friendly. And the quality of their vans is fantastic.

From start to finish Martin and The Team were thorough and professional - from identifying the right van through to full conversion.

Martin’s experience and depth of knowledge was crucial in guiding us through the process.

All queries handled in a timely manner and nothing was too much bother for them- including a last minute adjustment at our request !

The van is Vantastic!! … and we look forward to exploring during our new adventures!

I recently contacted the reception team regarding some warranty checks, my enquiry was handled professionally and the engagement when I arrived to drop the camper off was first class. A big thanks to Mark.....

Mark kept me updated on the progress of the work and confirmed when the camper would be ready to collect.

When I arrived to collect my camper, I was greeted by friendly staff and offered a cuppa. (was great after the 50 mile cycle to collect the van)

I'm happy to say that after testing the camper out at the weekend, all the work has been completed to a high standard. Well done to the reception and workshop teams...

We initially went to Caledonian campers to see about converting our M sport Ford transit, we met Martin from Cal/ Camp
Who was so knowledgeable, Martin gave us the tour of the workshop and was able to show us the different stages of works which was fascinating, the craftsmanship is second to none, we were totally blown away, after our tour we intended to come home and plan our conversion but there was a very lovely camper T6 on the forecourt that just happened to be for sale not for long 🤦‍♀️ our new camper is totally amazing we are so pleased with it and it is

We didn’t know one end of a campervan from the other when we started looking, so I was extremely pleased we started a conversation with Martin at Caledonian Campers. He was so knowledgeable and helpful.
After a number of telephone conversations we made the 500 mile round trip to visit the showroom. What an industrious place it was. Campers ready for the road were on display on the courtyard, next to the workshop where the talented crafters built the conversions.
The conversions are done to a really high spec.
Martin talked us through all the features and workings of the campers and pointed out the differences between the builds.
When we finally made a decision the paperwork was done professionally and swiftly. We picked up the camper a week later, and the handover was again trouble free. We also received a number of videos to watch to explain the workings of the van, and the documentation is second to none. Oh, and a surprise, a gift of a wee hamper packed with goodies and a bottle of wine in the fridge! What more could you want!
I would recommend this company without a doubt.

I’ve just picked up my motorhome from Caledonian Campers. It’s a lovely JOA 70Q. I was well looked after by Kirsten & Martin Sheffield at there site in Clydebank.
They were great I also got a wee video about the motorhome telling me all about it before I picked it up.
I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of service I received. This company is easy to deal with and has a great customer focus.

After an impulse purchase at the SECC in February, we picked up our new Campervan yesterday and to say we are pleased is very much an understatement. It's everything we hoped for and the team took on board some changes that we requested with absolutely no issue. Just bought our first Campervan from these guys. From the first time we met Isla and Martin at the Scottish Camping and Caravan Exhibition at the SEC until we picked up the van, the service has been excellent. Very knowledgeable, professional, honest and down to earth. Our wee van 'Ruby' is beautiful and the conversion is top notch. Just what we have been looking for. Can't wait to hit the road. Once again, thank you all so much.

We have never had a Camper Van before and are well beyond retirement age with energetic young grandchildren. We went to Caledonian Campers just after New Year to have a look at Vans and were shown nothing but patience and helpfulness. Martin explained everything so clearly and never failed to give us time even on our many repeat visits. At first there seemed so many options but it all gradually became clear.
The upshot is that we have bought a van from them and are delighted. Every piece of information was available for us, (we even had a personal video explaining how everything worked) and we had a lovely surprise awaiting us in the Van. So pleased.
Caledonian Campers are obviously proud of their Vans and confident in their workmanship. A pleasure to deal with.
