Really bad customer service!

I’ve placed an order directly at Cam Cam Copenhagen unfortunately it was broken when I received the order so I contacted customer service and filled in a claim form on the website but they’re ghosting me. So now I’ve paid for a broken/damaged product and don’t get any contact with Cam Cam Copenhagen!

Dreadful customer service, product now unuseable

I contacted Cam Cam Copenhagen regarding obtaining a misplaced part for our harlequin changing table. Customer service agents kept ending the chat as I was replying stating I hadn't replied. Then, they told me to email as their product/warehouse team would be able to help. But I never received a response via email. Ended up chasing up via Instagram and received a response but then they wanted the invoice. The item was purchased as a gift for my first born so I didn't have it. They then told me to contact the retailer purchased from, Harrods, who couldn't help as item was purchased over a year ago and they don't offer replacement parts. For a high quality brand, shocked at the poor level of customer service and now left with a changing table that isn't useable in the way it's intended.

Update: my emails are now coming back as undelivered to the customer services team.

Absolutely appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling customer service.
Tried to cancel very quickly and ignored me. Then I returned (at a cost of £18!) to Poland. Hasn’t arrived there as nobody was in when it was due for delivery (unprofessional) and received patronising, slow replies and nonsense instructions saying you need to ship business (after it’s already sent) and send the parcel somewhere (after it’s already sent) and generally treating a heavily pregnant woman with contempt. Will not be stopping until I receive a refund as this is grossly unfair.

Customer service disaster

We made an order over a month ago, which the courier returned to their warehouse in Poland in error on the 9th August. The subsequent dealings with their customer service team to either get a refund or redelivery has been an absolute nightmare.

For the past few weeks every time their customer service team responds with a very generic answer apologising and stating that they need to check with their warehouse. Simple questions are ignored. We’re starting to wonder if they have a chat bot answering questions.

I have shared the courier details with them so they should have every they need to resolve this problem by refunding us or redelivering the order.

Not sure what they need to check with the warehouse, nor why it would take them weeks to get a response from their own warehouse.

All in all, I’ve paid for my order and I don’t have it.

They have my money and seem to be doing a very bad job resolving this simple issue.

We love the Harlequin Wardrobe

Products were used and dirty

UPDATE:
We are happy with the solution offered so all good.

We just ordered some doll clothes for our daughter for Xmas and they all came used and dirty (various thick yellow unmistakable stains on doll clothes, looks like orange juice)

This is very disappointing in many ways:
a. We need to find alternatives short before Xmas now...
b. It looks like we have to pay for the return...

We are so so disappinted and will never ever order something from Cam Cam again - not even anywhere else. What a disappointing experience that was.

No product and no money

Update: I did get my money back. I might be wrong, but I didn’t see anything about a cheaper label at the time I wanted to return. Would be nice to have that information on the invoice too.
First time ever I’m left without the product and without the money back.. I ordered a backpack on a good discount for 300 dkk - I did receieve the item, but, in my opinion, the quality was much poorer than on the picture, so I decided to return it. I had to pay almost 100 dkk to send it to Poland (nowhere on the invoice or the danish part of the website about returns was it written that I can buy a cheaper label from them - I found that out after!) - and now apperantly my return got lost or stolen on the way - it’s been a month now and they didn’t get it, so I don’t get the money back.. I blame myself for shopping here and not reading the return rules beforehand - 400 dkk just down the drain.. Do NOT recommend!

If you do not buy a label from us we always recommend you choose the track and trace option with the shipment to avoid any litigations about the delivery.

Your return reached our warehouse a few days ago and I can see that you have received a refund for it now.

I forgot to write a rewiew about a year ago !

I have never recieved as wonderful customer service as from cam cam copenhagen!!! I ordered a few prodocts to my baby, however two of the prodocts were faulty.. I contacted customer service with photos. They answered really quickly and it all resulted in me getting my money back without having to return the products. Thank you!!

Customer service is a joke

Customer service does not exist at all…I purchased a swaddle cloth for my baby. The one that I received has two holes on it marked in orange circle…apparently they sent me a defected article that is meant to be recycled but somehow reshipped to the customer.

I sent the email to the customer service twice with zero response. Quite disappointed and will not make purchasing again

Really disappointed with customer service

Really disappointed with customer service.

Purchased a cot. It was delayed and delayed in being delivered. I contacted CCC which they followed up. It had been 10 days now. They said a following 8 days it might be shipped. So I now have no cot for my baby. On top of this they put a promotion on the cot. I asked if I could have some sort of compensation seeing as I hadn’t got the cot yet. They said no. Still waiting for the cot and I get smacked with a huge customs bill (this is not clear on check out). I also bought from them direct as they had 10% off. All in all it cost me almost double and took three times the amount of time it would of took of I bought from a UK supplier. I understand Brexit etc but there was just no sympathy, understanding or good will from them. Not buying from them again and I wouldn’t recommend buying from them either.

We got in touch right after this review was published to see what went wrong. In the terms and conditions on our website it is clearly mentioned that import duties are paid by the customer placing the order which is rather a standard procedure when exporting to the UK from an EU country. You placed the order on the 12th of March (Saturday), the order was shipped on 15th of March (Tuesday) went through customs clearance, waiting for import duties to be paid, and was delivered on the 30th of March. We are sorry to hear that the delivery time was longer than usual, however Cam Cam has no influence on how fast import duties are paid and the order is customs cleared.

We are sorry to hear that the order ended up being very expensive, however a small company like us is not able to pay the customs duties on your behalf as we have been asked. As a matter of fact we are heavily subsidizing the freight to the UK as the shipments are very costly, but we do not wish to put these costs on our UK customers.

Despite this purchase experience, we truly hope that you will enjoy using the Cam Cam baby cot.

Poor customer experience and return!

Poor customer experience and return!
Before you fall in love with CamCam's products be aware that their return policy is a huge hassle and expensive. One thing is that they don't make it clear that you have to pay returns (that is what it is), but you are completely on your own in figuring out how to return. Not return slip or guidance in the package. Also, my order showed up from Poland. So I have to pay returns to Poland, which is almost as expensive as the product itself. Finally, you can only return things if the little plastic bag it came in is unbroken. How on earth is CamCam thinking I can check if the size fits and not open the little bag?? Ended up not returning a product that was wrong in size, because they make it so hard to do. It may not be the idea, but one can't help suspect that this poor poor quality of service is to prevent returns. Either way, in a post-pandemic world where companies have figure out how to ship things, CamCam is an annoying and - almost surprisingly- bad experience.

Harlequin bed terrible quality.

I love cam cam copenhagen textiles. Great Quality and design made to last. But the harlequin dolls bed is not. The screws and bolts are way too short so the bed fell apart on the first day. It was not even from rough play but just carrying it from the one room to the other. My busband bought longer screws, but as the bed is not made of real wood but some kind of MDF the wood split and crumbled (even with carefully pre drilling every hole). We have little confidence the bed will hold over a year even with the longer screws in. For a dolls bed of 100 euro’s why not use real wood and longer screws? Very dissapointing…

Poor customer service and delivery

Ordered some products from cam cam Copenhagen 5 weeks ago. My products were returned to sender 2 times by dpd now my products have been in the Netherlands clearing customs for a week. I understand that there might be issues beyond there control but have emailed them twice to find out what’s going on and have not received a response last email was a week ago.
Really poor delivery and customer service so order at your own risk.

Such good quality and wonderfull design

I just bought a lot new things for my baby Girl. (Baby nest, baby bedding, changing bag, Baby Teether and the Harlequin Baby Bed.)
Wauw, such good quality and wonderfull design. I truly love all off Camcam products. Worth all the Money. I had to stop myself from buying every single thing on the website.

This company has the worst customer…

This company has the worst customer service. It does not respect the guarantee for a defective item. Offer -25% discount for a new purchase and request to give away to a charity organisation. Hopefully I have a 5 years special insurance. Wanted to buy the furniture for a new room. I will spend my thousand somewhere else.
