I was surprised to see the number of really bad reviews - though at least one thing I am aware of is causing some of it. By default they do not filter a lot of 'backorder' items and instead allow yo... See more

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service! Thank you camp saver. Highly recommend this store!
I had terrific customer service
I had terrific customer service. Ordered last weekend. My order arrived today (total 6 days). I think people who commented in recent months didn't take into account the problem with the USPS. I saved $73 per pair of shoes which is substantial. There was a glitch with the website so I ended up ordering over the phone and the people at Campsaver couldn't have been nicer.
Great return/exchange policies
Ordered a pair of climbing shoes, but they turned out to be a tad too big. No prob, shipped back to Campsaver on their own dime. Got another pair and too small. You guessed it, sent back again at their cost. Received pair #3 (again at campsaver.com's cost) and they are perfect! So easy to deal with, great prices, and exceptional return/exchange policies. One really can't ask for more.
Positive experience all around
Lots of bad reviews of CampSaver made me hesitant to use them but my experience was only positive. Received a discount code for my first purchase, which was only good for one item. I was in between two sizes, I reached out to them and they allowed me to use the discount for both items to ensure I got the right size. Both items shipped quickly and arrived within a few days. Be sure to look at the shipping time for your item, some items say they won't ship for a week or more and I think that's where the bad reviews are coming from saying their items aren't arriving. Customer service has been quick to respond both times I reached out.
Ordererd on 12/13 and still waiting…
Ordererd on December 13 and still hadn't received my order by the 23rd. Looked through my spam folder and found a request to verify the billing on the order by having to chase down a small charge on my credit card statement and call them back with the secret number. I try to call this morning and they're closed for the holiday. Not sure if this order will ever ship. That's a crazy way to do business in the age of Amazon. I guess another dinosaur of e-commerce will bite the dust soon...
I ordered an item and 17 days later still not shipped.
I ordered an item December 1 for a Christmas present and to date it has only ever shown as in process. That's 17 days so far without any progress and I have called customer service every day this week. They only tell me that they have tried escalating my order assuring me that it is not a back order issue they are simply that back logged. I will never do business with this company again.
Happy customer
I read these reviews several times. I ordered a Garmin Montana 700i GPS. I called customer service several times. Everyone I spoke was very courteous and tried to help me and answer my questions. I had to do a manual deposit verification. After that I got a $35 discount. Originally I got a 20% discount. When I placed the order no one had a Montana 700i in stock. I was not charged until the shipment was initiated. They found a company who had one in stock and it came today. A brand new one in pristine condition. Not only did they get me my product, when everyone including Garmin, was out of stock, but I got it for about $190 off, with free shipping. I got my product in about three weeks from ordering. The product was "out of stock" when ordered.

I ordered a tent in august and it had not yet delivered. They keep moving the delivery date and when I contacted them, they said"you can cancel the order at anytime".... an incredible disrespectful approach to doing business... I won't cancel my order and I am waiting to see how long it will take for them to deliver my purchase. So far almost 5 months. My order number is Order #16175318
Had the chance to be good, but CampSaver can’t deliver
When I first heard about CampSaver.com, I was excited. As a SAR team member, having to buy our own gear means needing to be have a good site to buy from that has both good selection and good prices. We need retailers that are dependable. Unfortunately, CampSaver isn’t in that category.
My first order had a 20% coupon on the entire order which was great. From there, the experience went down quickly as backordered items with projected delivery dates kept getting pushed out for months after I ordered them, and their Customer Service is silent to inquiries for help.
As such, this is not a dependable site to order from. I’ve lost multiple coupons due to the fact that my orders never came and resulted in the coupons expiring.
There are many more sites to choose from I’ve found that give good deals, good service, and don’t play the backordered timing games.
I placed an order for two shirts
I placed an order for two shirts. They tell me one wasn’t really in stock… I ordered two shirts identical because they were for twins. They decided to just ship me one without Asking whether I wanted the rest of the order. I’m not even on their subscription list and they send me ads every single day
I’d give a zero if it was possible
I’d give a zero if it was possible. 2 months since order has been placed and nothing. Zero. Nadda. What a joke.
Save yourself a headache.
Read the reviews. Caveat emptor. Very slow to process orders, quick to charge your card however. 9 days after ordering, shipping label created 2 days after ordering. A week and counting, USPS still has not received.
Trash Company
Trash Company, avoid like the plague. Ordered a bike box with express shipping (~$290 + $60 shipping), 8 working days later and they are still "processing" the order. If you can't fulfill customer orders, don't accept payment for so many...there are plenty of competitors out there who will do a much better job & happily take the business you are clearly unable to handle.
Too good to be true
They almost got me I put in my 3-digit…
They almost got me I was searching for power supplies portable and I was going to buy it something from Jacobi jackery or jackety something like that it was a little too much expensive so I went back to Facebook and I scroll down and Bam 💥right there is the ad for this camping gear I just was looking at..somehow they traced my search query then reproduced it in my fb news feed it had to be an algorithmic fraud scheme..they tried to sell me some stuff at 70% off and just right there at the end I didn't feel right about so I backed out... I put in my 3-digit security code and I didn't press enter something felt off so I erased it & backed out..I feel that must've been a good choice after looking at all these reviews and it says that it's a fake place so I'm a real person far as I know I would not shop here.. if it looks too good to be true it usually is.

I was nervous ordering from here after reading mixed reviews but arrived on time!
No problems for me..
Will be ordering again for sure
Decided to 'risk it' since the price…
Decided to 'risk it' since the price was good, despite the subpar Trustpilot reviews.
Ordered 1 item for around $50 USD. Received expected item. The shipping timing was good and reasonable.
This was not a good experience
This was not a good experience. I made a large several item order. No acknowledgement. Three weeks later, I received one item that was marked irregular. When I eventually got a hold of customer service, which was in and of itself a challenge, they said they would precess a return, but I have heard nothing. Camp savers is not a legit site. Beware.
HORRIBLE! Just horrible.
HORRIBLE! I so wish that I had read the reviews before ordering from them. I am concerned that they now have information about me. For sure this is NOT a legit site!
