Aki was amazing, really friendly and made the trip worth remembering, a trip of a life time for sure. Would really recommend the 12 day adventure, so much to do and see!

There was lots of activities planned and I feel like I saw a lot of Thailand. It was very well organised and we had a good mix of down time in with plenty of activities.

I definitely would recommend Camp Thailand to everyone who has never been to Thailand and is too scared to go on their own for the first time.
Camp Thailand did a great job of showing me, as a first time traveler to this country, the beauty of Thailand.
I am glad I booked a tour with them, because the organisation was well structured and I felt supported through a WhatsApp chat at any time, before, during and after the trip.
The trip itself was well organised and guided through a local. The accommodations were really nice and had breakfast included.
The activities were also nice and really fun!
The trip itself felt a bit rushed sometimes, especially in the beginning, going from one place to the next in a very short time to only stay in one place for 1-3 nights.
So the 12 Day Tour will definitely have a lot of travel time included!
Only 4/5 stars because I really didn’t think it would be that much of a social media presentable tour.
I personally would have preferred using a different route and seeing locations that not everyone on social media has already been talking about.
It felt a bit as if the tour was deliberately planned for travelers that want to post a picture of a place that everyone already knows from Instagram or TikTok.
That being said, I am over 30, the age limit is currently at 35, but maybe I’m just too old for this.
All in all I would definitely recommend the 12 Day Tour in Thailand with Camp Thailand, because I had lots of fun, met amazing people and collected my first impression of a new country.

Extremely well organised tour, our tour guide Aki, was friendly and approachable and always willing to assist us. He was very knowledgeable about the best restaurants and experiences in the areas we were staying. Our trip was jam packed with experiences and excursions. Definitely made the most of our 2 weeks in Thailand. Would recommend to anyone who also is travelling alone as I was with a lovely group of people and felt very safe. For sure an experience of a lifetime 10/10 ✨✨✨

Everything was amazingly organised, from the first airport transfer to all the activities and food. I learnt so much on this tour and have made memories that I will never forget. I would 100% recommend this to anyone thinking about the tour. I went as a solo traveler and always felt included.

I am absolutely appalled by the customer service Camp Thailand has shown us. It is very clear that they care far more about money than about their customers. We are booked on their 12-day trip which is due to start this Sunday. However, due to the unforeseen conflict in the Middle East, it is becoming increasingly unlikely that we will be able to travel to Thailand. As soon as the situation developed, I immediately contacted Emirates (the airline we are flying with) to try to find an alternative route. Very quickly, the prices for alternative flights became ridiculously expensive, and I can now no longer find a return flight for under £1,800.
As a 20-year-old student — the exact age group Camp Thailand markets towards — this is a huge amount of money. It took me months to save for this trip in the first place, and I physically cannot afford to pay these inflated prices.
Both my friend and I, who are in the same situation, have called and emailed Camp Thailand several times explaining everything and clearly asked if we could either reschedule the trip or receive a refund, as it has become clear that we cannot realistically fly to Thailand right now. They have completely rejected both options.
Instead, they told us to “look again” because they had supposedly found flights for around £1,000. I would challenge anyone to find me a direct return flight leaving Saturday (when I was originally due to fly) for anywhere near that price. I can find flights to Thailand for around £300, but I would also like to be able to get home at the end of the trip — and that is where the prices skyrocket. If someone can genuinely find a return flight for under £1,000, I will happily retract this review because I have had this trip booked for months and want nothing more than to go.
Being told to “look again” is honestly insulting, as if I haven’t already tried absolutely everything possible to make this trip work.
They also emailed saying that Thailand is “unaffected” by the situation, which simply isn’t true. There are constant reports of cancelled and delayed flights — including dozens of cancellations and hundreds of delays. The fact that they are happy for me to travel there knowing I could be stranded, forced to pay for additional accommodation, or face significant disruption shows a complete lack of concern for the risks customers might face.
Arguably the worse part of this whole thing is the fact they have also told us to claim through insurance instead. And the insurance WHICH THEY TOLD US TO GET is denying our claim due to the fact it is a war as well. Therefore they are responsible for providing us with poor insurance, coming from a company who we thought we could trust to deliver reliable resources for us to use.
I understand that this situation is not their fault. However, they have completely failed to acknowledge the very real risks and financial impact this situation has created for some of their customers. All I am asking for is to reschedule my trip for later in the year. You already have my money — keep it — and allow me to travel at a later date when it is actually possible and safe to do so.
Please do not take over £1,000 from a student for something that is entirely out of their control. Do not profit from people in situations like this. Where is the humanity?
Camp Thailand is a large company, and this situation is only affecting a small number of people. I know that over half of my group are still able to attend because they were booked on direct flights or their airlines moved them to alternative direct routes. Unfortunately, I have not been so lucky.
Allowing me to reschedule would not disadvantage the company in any meaningful way. Flights for April trips are not currently as inflated, and this disruption appears limited to the next couple of weeks.
Based on this experience, I would strongly warn others about booking with this company. If you encounter unforeseen circumstances, you may lose hundreds — if not thousands — of pounds.
The tour guide was excellent and very helpful knew loads of knowledge about each place we we when to.
Great way to meet new people and especially for solo travellers!
The activity are really good but would of referred them to be spaced out a bit more over the 3 weeks and maybe longer stays in certain areas.

Absolutely fantastic from the very start to the very end can not fault camp Thailand themselves and of course our tour guide Aki, aki was the tour guide who was also a best friend while staying professional he was a true credit to himself and can’t thank him enough, as for camp Thailand they were so helpful throughout the whole process they made sure to keep in touch if you were nervous they’d calmly explain everything on what it will be like the team should be proud of themselves
Thanks Jacob
