Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers appreciate the natural look and feel of the product, often finding them easy to apply and a good alternative to salon nails. Some users report that the nails last a long time, especially when instructions are followed carefully, with some even lasting up to three weeks. The brush-on glue is frequently mentioned as a good option for strong adhesion, and the adhesive tabs are noted for being gentler on natural nails. However, some people were dissatisfied with the product's durability, reporting that the nails fell off quickly, sometimes within hours or a few days, even after following instructions. There are also concerns about potential damage to natural nails, with some experiencing brittleness, peeling, or even discoloration after removal. A few customers found the application process messy or difficult, particularly with the glue, and some felt the product's appearance looked cheap or that the sizing was inconsistent.

Nails turned green

At first I thought they looked good seeing the advertisements which made them look easy to apply and long lasting I decided to try them myself to save money after salon prices. Stick on tabs were useless and the glue was very fiddly I bought 4 boxes plus extra glue and oil i did everything from the instructions provided once on they looked ok but I think they are overpriced and didn’t live up to expectations.. they kept falling off after a few days then constantly sticking back on it’s a waste of time and money. My nails turned green and extremely dry and flakey they will take ages before they are back to normal. No feedback from customer service either. Wouldn’t recommend!!

Not a great first impression

I haven’t even tried to attach the nails yet. Had high expectations but the finish on the french tips is really poor and looks chipped. The instructions are on the back of the pack. Tiny pink writing on a pink background so really difficult to see even with 20:20 vision. Not a great start not sure I’ll even bother applying them they look so cheap.

Cute designs is where the good stops

Cute designs and packaging is where the good ends
I ordered 2 sets of nails, miracle repair oil, pro prep duo, magic remover serum, brush on glue.
Nails are long even though short sets ordered, nails are quite curved my finger nails are flatter and it hurt once secured in place, brush on glue is easy to apply but definitely still messy, nails look like cheap press on nails the claims to natural look completely false, remover serum does remove nail off but does not remove residual glue from natural nail,
Pro prep duo is a good set these I will keep, repair oil feels and smells nice easy to apply only just did first application so cant comment on repair ability though.
Overall not worth it IMO

Great alternative to expensive salon nails

These are a long lasting alternative to normal nail polish and much more economical and good for your nails than salon acrylics. The nails themselves are beautiful. For a strong adhesion, buy the brush on glue but be warned, I'm finding them hard to remove three weeks later. I've only managed to get one off so far. The adhesive stickers are less 'stuck' and easier to remove. They can come off in a week which might be better than battling to remove them with the brush on glue.

Don't buy into the hype

I kept seeing the sponsored ads of Facebook about how great these press on nails were and how they protected your nails. I've had gel nails, shellac nails before and they ruined my nails and nail polish only stays on for 2 days tops before it starts to chip. So I was really excited to try these press on nails!

The first set stayed on pretty well as I tried to watch as many tutorials on proper application. I used glue. The problem occurred trying to get them off. It. Took. Sooo. Long! The soaking with soap and oil method definitely does not take 15 minutes. Not even an hour! Maybe 2 hours even. And even after soaking and gently lifting them as the tutorials suggest, my nails lifted off with them!

So next I tried the adhesive tabs. Kind of fiddly to get on but it was ok. You have to be super gentle with them though because otherwise they will move. Whatever you do, don't try to open a can of lemonade!
So then I went back to glue. Same thing, wear was ok -nearly 2 weeks (although I had to glue one nail back on) but the removal damaged ALL my nails. So then I tried the adhesive strips WITH a drop of glue. Good hold but they still moved (lemonade can is still a no go). BUT the removal was the absolute WORST! I used the soaking method again (don't bother with the removal serum, it's pretty much useless). My nails were absolutely destroyed!! I had to give them a rest for 3 months until the damaged part of my nails had grown out.
I attended a wedding in November and still had a 3 sets so (call me stupid if you will) I put on another set. The nails started falling off after a week. I glued one back on but more came off after a couple more days so I decided to remove them as I could feel that all of them had started lifting. Soaked them for aaaages, removed gently and guess what? Still ended up with damaged nails.
Bottom line: If you value nail health DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Not that great as others suggest

Nails not extra short as stated, difficult to apply with the glue application stick. Magic remover is not very magic. With the cost of the nails you would think the pack would come with a brush applicator. Not having to pay extra for one. The colour has also left a tinge in my nails.

Disappointed 😞

So far I can only give these a 2 star rating.
I kept seeing these on social media so i thought id give them a go.
The idea of using stickers even though glue is provided if you want that option was appealing.
So i purchased 3 sets , extra glue, extra stickers and extra removing serum. I got a set free with my purchase.
I was impressed and excited when they arrrived yesterday as I only ordered them a few days ago.

So last night I spent an hour preparing my nails, fitting and laying out the nails i was going to use.
I went for the stickers only option....wish I hadnt. The stickers are so fiddly to get off , took over an hour to put them on as its not easy to get the stickers off the clear paper.
So ive had them on less than 24 hours and 7 out of 10 nails are off. It would be interesting to see what sort of lifestyle people have that only use the stickers because the sticker option is definitely not for a practical person.
Also there are a lot of very small nails in the package that will never be used. Going forward this company need to offrr a better choice of nail sizes.

So im not giving up on them yet . I'll take them all off , clean them and prepare my nails again going for the just glue option this time .

When my nails arrived a nail in the pack is missing and I sent an email with photo and have not heard back from Candy Claws. It looks to me like someone has returned them and they have just passed them on without checking. Therefore not happy.

I concur with most reviews regarding…

I concur with most reviews regarding the nails popping off. 24hrs later and I’ve had to resort to different methods to keep them on. Kind of defeats the purpose and all the advertising about their durability is not quite correct. However what I have found to be the real issue is that they simply do not sit right. The bottom part of the nails is the same thickness and it’s so evident that they are stick ons. The cut is frumpy looking on my hands and I have long fingers. I would love to show photos but can’t find where this can be done. Actually I give these a big 0!!!!!!

Amazing and easy

Amazing. Ordered X Short and filed them down a bit further as I’m very heavy on my hands. First attempt, followed the instructions using the tabs and they’ve lasted the three days I wanted. A trial run for my holiday nails next week, when I’ll be using the glue. Ideal for special occasions or a week’s holiday.

Quite disappointing

I bought an extra glue as a nail polish and used that with the set. On the first 3 days, I had to used the other glue as they kept falling.

After more than two weeks, I tried to remove them. It took more than 2 hours, using their "special oil". It broke one of my nail super short and damaged all the other one.

They definitely stay on

They definitely stay on! I used the glue. After 2 weeks one came off so decided to remove the remaining ones. Followed instructions, so difficult to remove and destroyed my natural nails, tips broke off, half my nail stuck to false ones. Will never use again. Left with disgusting nails. So disappointed ☹️

Long Lasting

I had these in my drawer for a while and popped them on for my dad's wedding last minute. They definitely took a long time to apply as I had to file each nail to fit my nail shape but they lasted the whole night! They lasted about a week before one fell off while I was at work. I work in childcare so there was definitely a lot of stress being put on the nails and they lasted much longer than any other press ons I've tried!

Falls off way too easily

Falls off way too easily, even when meticulously following the steps. Took me almost an hour to apply because I was so pedantic of doing it right but still some fell off the same day. Not the first time this has happened with this brand. Waste of time.

Not great quality

I bought these about a year ago and they were great. The nails were strong and lasted for a few weeks.

I bought 3 more packs this year and they seem so brittle compared to the packs last year. I had 2 nails snap break after only a few days and I got the extra short pairs. They quality just isn’t the same!
