No longer spending hundreds at the salons
Absolutely LOVE these nails! I have since tried a couple of other brands, but for whatever reason, Candy Claws look, last and fit better. The first set I put on, I went nuts with the glue and they happily lasted 3 weeks; it was really difficult to get them off! A few lessons learnt there! If you really need to get them off but they haven't started lifting yet, recommend using dental floss with the oil, but you're better off just waiting for them to lift. When putting on, put glue of the candy claw first then your own nail so it goes a little tacky before you pick up the claw. I can get mine in in 10 minutes flat, taking off is now usually around 15 to 20 minutes. Nails underneath are damage free. Only thing I wish for is the extra short squoval shape in short length. I find the extra short to be too short for my nail beds so use the short oval. ♥️
Order never arrived
Ordered on the 4th of October, nothing showed up. No response from customer service. Very disappointed.
Messy ..
Delivery was quick and nails themselves look good… BUT I had issues. Seriously difficult and messy putting enough glue on for a strong hold. I ended up with glue over my fingers and on the surface of the nail. Then had to try to remove dried glue from my fingers and on the nails. Had to use a bottle of acetone to soak my nails for removal (dissolving the them) - only way to get them off. Messy and not worth the time. Sorry.
Finally gorgeous nails!
These are fantastic. I have an allergy to nail polish. Have tried all forms of salon nails with no luck - always get a reaction afterwards. No problem at all with Candy Claws. Very easy to apply and so happy my nails finally look gorgeous. Mine lasted over 2 weeks! Highly recommend if you’re thinking of trying - just amazing!
Absolutely fantastic!
Absolutely fantastic! I’ve never had press ons that last so well and feel so secure. I purchased the paint on glue and it made it really easy to apply so I recommend adding it on. My nails have survived beach holidays, snorkelling, teaching and even moving my classroom furniture around. Strongest nails I’ve had will definitely be buying more colours!
Love these nails
Love these nails! They look natural, come in great colours and last - as long as you completely follow their instructions.
I highly recommend these nails, and I also highly recommend watching the founder's videos about the best way to apply them as her videos are really easy to follow and showed me how to get the best out of an application. After following the proper technique they last me two weeks!
Didn’t even last 24 hours constantly…
Didn’t even last 24 hours constantly popping off would not purchase again
Didn’t quite live up to its expectations
I was very excited to use candy claws. Unfortunately, the first thing I had trouble with was the glue, it was really hard to squeeze out. Then after day 3 one of my nails popped off leaving quite a residual of colour (sourgrape) and glue behind and then again on day 5. I’m quite disappointed as I actually really like the look of them. However, they were nowhere near as easy to put on as all the video clips and reviews that I’d read. The residue glue is still on my nail even though I have gently buffed them and soaked them. As I’ve only had them on for five days it looks a bit funny as the others aren’t ready to come off with two missing. I did purchase another set but I am not sure whether I’m going give it another go. I’m nervous what damage I may have done now to my natural nails.
Seriously bad product
Seriously bad product. I bought 4 sets and their glue, followed the instructions exactly and still had ongoing issues.
The actual press on nail will split and tear - which can damage your actual nail because of the adhesive. The glue is randomly strong, so even if a nail has split you can’t soak it off. These nails were tearing from easy tasks - brushing my hair, folding laundry, driving the car… nothing considered extreme or risky!
Then some nails will pop off after 2 days and others will stay on for a week.
The customer services is TERRIBLE!! I had commented a question on instagram and they messaged me asking me to email the customer service team. I did that. Then I emailed again. I sent images. I emailed again. Still no reply.
When I messaged them on Instagram they told me they hadn’t received my emails and to try again. I have screenshots of my emails being sent to the correct email address.
Edited to add- they have now messaged me and told me they will refund my order. So hopefully at least the customer service is actually better than I experienced.
Had 4 pop off within 24 hours
Had 4 pop off within 24 hours. And one of the remaining nails paint scratched or flaked off. I hadn’t done any lifting or anything significant to cause this.
Adhesive tabs are great
This time I have applied using the sticky tabs. I have the Sunny XS on and was so happy that each nail had one that could fit in a different colour. They feel more secure at the moment than the glue did but only as I am 52 and have ridges in my nails that make it hard for the glue! I’m loving candy claws. This is my second application and I wore the first set glued on for almost 3 weeks only having to glue 3 back on in that time due to ridges. Great value for money and no damage to your nails.
Would buy again
I think the most important thing to do when applying Candyclaws is to take your time. Prep your nails as per instructions. These are the longest lasting nails I’ve ever used. I have tried other brands, always prepped properly. Not sure what Candyclaws do differently but they last much longer. Would buy again.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
Love them! I've already ordered so many times, I love the convenience of having salon like nails in the comfort of my own home! 😍 I get so many compliments and I have recommended everyone i know to try them out!
Simply the best
I have used nails from
A number of different companies and the Candyclaws are 100% the best. The current set I have on now have been on for 3 weeks and not one has come off or needed replacement, and still going.
Purchased three sets with extra glue
Purchased three sets with additional tabs, brush-on glue and the remover. If you follow the instructions for glueing the nails they last extremely well. I got at least two weeks without any popping off. The adhesive tabs are great if you only want them on a week or less and much better than glue for your nail health. Both types of adhesive were easy to remove if you follow the instructions although I’d say oil works best for removing the adhesive tabs. I’ve used other brands, both cheaper and more expensive and I prefer Candy Claws.
Look ok once they’re on but it’s only…
Look ok once they’re on but it’s only been 11 days now and they have all fallen off (a couple of them fell off after a few days but I just glued them back on). Willing to give them another go cause even though I did follow the instructions I might not have waited till the glue was tacky enough before pressing them on. I got the French tips and I think they look a little cheap but I’m going to try the bare minimum next time.
Fantastic and easy to apply product
Fantastic and easy to apply product - wonderful alternative for salon nails. Watch the videos so you can avoid being a little messy (like me) with the glue, but SO happy with this product and service. UPDATE: Removed my set after two weeks - and no issues at all with the two weeks wear or the removal. I have applied another ‘extra short’ set of ‘sour cherry’ and they look fantastic. I am so glad that a friend of mine put me onto this product. Also, second time around, no issues with me being messy with the glue! Highly recommend.
Verdict after two sets
Just removed the second set - both the first and second set lasted only a week and a few days. I found that on both sets the thumb nails broke and they lifted from the cuticle fairly quickly (even with following the instructions perfectly). I have used both the glue that comes with and the brush on glue. The squeezy glue is super messy but found the application to be stronger in the long run. Also find that my natural nails are horrible after removal and some are actually pretty sore from prising them off. I feel like the strategic advertising of ‘healthy natural nails’, ‘long lasting’ etc is a bit stretched as this probably applies to someone that doesn’t do basic chores like cleaning, washing up, nappy changes and multiple hand washes a day! My thumb also broke when changing the sheets on my bed. I feel like these are special occasion nails rather than all the time.
Lovely nails
I absolutely love my nails they last for ages I've done decorating gardening and they have stayed on I do take them off give them a clean and my own nails and but them back on I've had lots of compliments and they cost a fraction of the price to have them done in a salon going to order my 3rd pair soon x
