Canto has helped our office streamline all of our photo and video assets into one safe location, accessible by many different levels of users. My team is able to upload assets for projects, and share with clients easily. Other users are able to self-serve for their photo/video needs by searching for specific tags and keywords. Facial recognition has been an incredibly useful addition to the software as well. Overall, Canto has solved the problems our team was facing, and has made our workflow more efficient.

Very good product but poor customer support. Did exactly what we needed and wasn't too bad to set up. However, beware that customer sales oversells what customer support implementation will do for you!

Canto has been an integral part of our business. It helps our team by organizing files and making sure that all images are up to date. They also help make sure that the right people have access to the right images.

Canto has become a huge asset to our sales team and is used daily through our marketing efforts. It is a great tool for organizing all our photos, videos, and documents. With a user-friendly interface, it operates as a google search engine for our company. Now it’s easy to find products, events, and share those images with our clients. It is our main hub spot for all things related to our company.

Saved hours of searching for content with the tags, category and custom fields. The integration from Google Drive was very fast and intuitive. It does take a while to upload content but can run while you are doing other things.

Canto is a great platform to use for an individual or organization. There are options to categorize, share, edit, and download the library. This has been a big help to our organization to share and use the best pictures for our organization.

This asset management system was the best bang for our buck that we could find, and while it's customization is on point, the download and upload speeds are slow enough to warrant a warning to potential users.

There are so many features that it can accommodate a variety of users. Where I use certain features, someone else on our team likes to use another. We had several issues with our previous server system, but mostly because sharing content was overly complicated. Now, with Canto, it's so easy. I often laugh at the technically barbaric method we used to use.

We have been using Canto now for over two years as our one-stop-shop for all of our forward-facing brand assets. From imagery to videos and logos to digital catalogs, Canto has helped our business share these crucial files with our partners who need them.

Canto allows our team to contribute photo and video to our archive across multiple locations. As a designer, it is a convenient way for me to organize and curate the best of our images. Their customer service is outstanding and has been responsive and friendly answering our questions and working with us to address any concerns.

Canto enables easy digital asset management and access for our clients around the world. The search feature is super powerful so our users are able to refine their searches to find exactly what they're looking for. The ease of use for me to manage, and our clients to find what they're looking, for is what makes Canto a winner in my opinion. We researched several options and settled on Canto and haven't been disappointed. The fact that Canto is continually improving the product is an additional bonus.

Canto is very flexible and adaptable platform that has really streamlined our workflows and made our materials accessible to our statewide staff across three different offices. It's also made it a much simpler process to search and find good visual assets for various needs, and to share out photo and video documentation with back to artists we work with easily.

The price is cost-prohibitive for smaller organizations, but the investment has been an important one for our organization in really taking good care of our cataloging and accessing our media assets. We do wish there was a function to batch-rename a group of files, tho.

Canto has been an important and daily tool for the professionalization of our workflows, and helped us develop meaningful care for our archival materials.

Canto makes finding the right assets so easy. The Chrome plugin is great - you can find a photo and drag/drop it into your current project without having to open another program.

The only downside was how long it took to move all of our assets into the system and organize/tag them. We did it with our in-house marketing team and it was a huge process.

Overall, Canto speeds up our day-to-day work, since we're not sifting through folders trying to find the image we're looking for.

When we were on Dropbox, we constantly got confused by duplicates coming from syncing issues. We constantly wanted more features for organizing and searching content. Canto erased all of those issues. It gave us so many features that we now rely on everyday.

Love using Canto. It has streamlined our digital asset management process and has made everything for accessible to our internal and external stakeholders.

It's a visual, web-based DAM that is incredibly easy to use and assessable from anywhere. Canto is incredibly fast and responsive, with all sorts of plug ins and extensions to integrate your favorite browser, file transfer site or software application (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier). The Portals & User Permissions allow a lot of fine tuning to ensure each user or team has access to only the assets they should. The admin controls couldn't be easier to use, making managing access through the system a total breeze. The simplicity is and emphasize on clean visuals really puts Canto above most other platforms we've used or demonstrated. Highly recommend others take the time to see what Canto offers and how your company can benefit from what it does best.

Canto is clean, but also flexible. It's perfect for internal use, as well as client use. I can't recommend it enough. Digital asset management is key, and Canto nails it on every front.

Canto is an excellent DAM platform. I chose it for my client because of its robust features and customizable metadata. Implementation was a breeze and onboarding has been smooth. The interface is the best part -- with a team of creatives, they need a very visual and intuitive UI, and that's what they have with Canto. It is priced competitively and you definitely get what you pay for -- so far we've found it to be a very good value. The Adobe Connector is one of the best features for my client. I also love that they frequently release new updates and features that are based on direct feedback from users. I will be recommending Canto to future clients with similar needs in the future.

I set up Cantos original DAM system "Cumulus" at Honda R&D in California more than 10 years ago to help access, secure and organize their tens of thousands of vehicle, facility and product assets. It helped tremendously reduce the time needed to find and download files.The security of our images is most important. To ingest the files and know they are safe and easily found is key. Canto makes a great product used world wide for just this purpose.I recently helped nonprofit Surfing Heritage Cultural Center set up Canto and it helped them realize the value of their images and files.

PROS: It is very user-friendly. It's visual and easy to navigate. It has great search and filter features. You can send people directly to an asset without giving them access to everything. It also includes a portal, which you can brand and make public or private. Great training and support.

CONS: You can’t upload a separate cover image for your album; you have to use one that is already in your library; it has to be an actual asset. This is difficult if your album of assets only contains font or color libraries, the thumbnails have no visual.

Overall: Canto is a great product. I has lots of features and is reasonably priced compared to other DAMs. We use Canto to house all of our brand assets, collateral, graphics, videos, etc. We also have templates available on Canto, so stakeholders can create simple pieces on their own rather the disturbing the marketing team allowing us to focus on higher priorities.
