Everyone is so helpful and they don't rush you. My case has been in the works for a long time due to my misunderstanding.
I was fortunate to get Kaylen multiple times with his expertise and patience. He is the best. I am looking forward to working with him again.

I am happy with your product and rates. Ease of application was nice also. But, I t shouldn't have taken a week to receive information about account. Portal was difficult to register in and account information was missing. Alex in technical support was a big help and rectified the portal issues.
The account was set up and the money was pulled from my bank account on July 27th and as of 10:52 PM on July 30th the money isn’t on my client portal.
I am extremely concerned and disappointed that they have my money and have not credited my account. Interest accrue should have begun the moment they had my money. Where is my money and when will promised interest begin? I have been unable to reach anyone by phone!!!
After posting my review late last night, I was notified today that the money is in my account and interest will be paid from the date the money was transferred. I verified through the portal that the information is correct. I’m surprised that no one has contacted me regarding my post. A little communication goes a long way!!!
I appreciate they took care of the issue.

They had a problem making my new annuity show up on my customer portal. Jose Escalera is the agent that kept thing rolling and kept me informed with what was going on. Very helpful.

I applied for a new policy on 7/24/26 and had my fund ready on the same day in my bank account. Today, on 7/30, I still don’t have a confirmation of the new policy and my money is still sitting in my checking account making nothing.
Update: I received a phone call and an email this morning (7/31) from Manager Bryson informing that, due to a scheduled system update, their Policy Service office was closed on Friday, 7/24. As a result, the ACH payment associated with my application was not processed from my bank account. The firm will reprocess the ACH and honor full credit from 7/24.
I truly appreciate Bryson’s prompt response and his sincere effort to resolve the issue.

DISCLAIMER: This will be a long review/tale for those who are thinking about transferring an annuity to Canvas and would like to read about an actual experience. The TL;DR version is that the transfer required several rounds of follow-up paperwork to satisfy the surrendering carrier, extending the process beyond Canvas's promotional rate-lock window, but the Director of Canvas intervened to make sure that we satisfied the surrendering insurer and also guaranteed that the promotional interest rate in effect when I applied would be honored. While Canvas's interest rates are obviously industry-leading, their customer service is even better.
By the time I applied for a Canvas annuity in May, to be funded through a 1035 exchange of an old annuity, I'd already exchanged many annuities through a remote agent and also through online competitor Gainbridge. I was familiar with the paperwork that was involved (in particular applying as POA for the annuity owner) as well as the transfer times.
The first thing that struck me about Canvas's app was that the published rate-lock window of 30 days was too short for a transfer. This made me anxious about Canvas's process. It turns out that the rate-lock window for transfers is actually 45 days, which is stated in a Canvas email. The second thing that struck me about the application process was that at no time did Canvas ask me for a copy of the Power of Attorney that purportedly authorized me to act on behalf of the owner. Canvas ultimately did request the POA before they would speak with me when I called to follow up a few weeks later.
The surrendering carrier made this transfer more difficult than it had with previous transfers, and its new requirements for POA applicants necessitated some do-overs in Canvas's paperwork.
When only four days remained in the transfer window, I asked Canvas about extending the promotional rate. As testament to the company's commitment to customer service, the Director of Canvas stepped in and shepherded my transfer to its happy conclusion.
The 1035 exchange process can be daunting and is not necessarily optimized for a digital-first platform. However, there are real people at Canvas behind the digital platform, and in my experience they show up unbidden to smooth out the process.

I’ve had a great experience with Canvas. One of my favorite things is how easy it is to manage everything online. I can access my information, keep track of my account, and handle things from the comfort of my own home without having to deal with a complicated process.
The team has been helpful, professional, and always willing to answer my questions when I needed assistance. The convenience and customer service have made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.
I would definitely recommend Canvas to anyone looking for a simple and reliable way to manage their account.

The interest rates with Canvas are usually the highest I can find. Also, applying online is easy. If you don't know how to answer a question, just email and their responses are the same day or the next at the latest. You can call, too, but I like to email. Excellent and friendly customer service.

Goes and foremost… II love the Rate! And the customer service experience was exceptional. Representative was very patient and knowledgeable.

customer service is not what it was previously dealing with Canvas. Too much to go into. But mainly interest rate IS suppose to be 6.35% and CA issued it with 6.10%. have sent two emails and two phone calls today, suppose to get a call back... we shall see if that happen.
