Thank you Bart and Canvas Replicas! We have used your services twice now. I had first purchased the Mulberry Tree by Van Gogh. What I appreciated about the painting was that it was real paint with real texture of an original Van Gogh. It was heavily textured with paint just like Van Gogh would do. No other way to experience a classic!
The second commission was from an original watercolor we had that was lost in a house fire. I was devastated by the loss of our original art pieces. My husband was able to find a picture of the lost painting. He contacted Bart and his team of art professionals to recreate the piece on canvas using acrylic paint. I just received the art yesterday and was so pleased to see the reproduction of our original.
What is great is they can reproduce the classics and even more emotional for me was replacing our original painting that was from a photo of our sons when they were 4 and 5 years old! Thanks again

My experience with Canvas Replicas exceeded my expectations! I had an unusual request for the good folks at Canvas Replicas. My mother always talked about the pastoral painting that hung above her parents' mantle in the 1940s and how she wished she could see it again. She had several decent photos of the original painting, so I sent them to Bart to see what could be done. The result is a beautiful piece of art my mom treasures. It has brought her so much joy. I appreciate Bart's personal touch, his interest in the painting, the timely delivery and the careful way it was packaged. I'm now plotting my next purchase...

My initial order consisted of 8 painting. When I received the paintings I was only happy with five out of the eight. Canvasreplicas.com DID NOT send me any proofs for approval; they just ship their replicas to customers without approvals. Customers end up having to PAY MORE to repack and return the replicas, and in my case pay restocking fees.

The response I got from the owner (Bart) was basically, "Since we charge less than our competitors, our customers should expect less from our product."

At the same time that I placed my order with canvasreplicas.com I also placed an order with 1startgallery.com. The Customer Service, communication, policies regarding proofs, are far superior to canvasreplicas.com.

I RECOMMEND getting your replicas from 1stgallery.com or another online vendor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ordering from canvasreplicas.com

My painting was a "modern" almost abstract one. Not easy to duplicate, but the work that was done is actually it's own art work.

Painting is fantastic. While not using some of the same brush strokes and techniques, the painting is ABOVE AND BEYOND what we expected. It is fantastic. It is also the price of a shoddy print. Will be ordering again!

I have had several paintings reproduced by Canvas Replicas. I found their service to be reliable, their prices good compared to other companies I have used in the past, and the portraits done well. I highly recommend this company for oil reproductions.
