Very difficult to log in. Always does not recognize my info, even though I enter it EXACTLY. I am Forced TO Do a NEW PASSWORD, WHICH WHEN I use the same one, it is accepted. Next time it does not work. Don't like having to give SS # every time.I have to make a new password
This is by far the worst website I have ever used and I use a lot.

Disgusting corporation

Disgusting corporation. I, supposedly a customer you want to do business with, call in and I'm told I'll be on a recorded line and I say, then I am recording this call too, and I'm told I can't?! That it's against your POS company's policy? SO I say then I'm not allowing you to record me either and I'm told you will not continue the call unless I bow to your demands to record me without my being allowed to record you?! What kind of evil crap might you all be up to that you would never allow yourselves to be recorded but you demand to record your customers. You are so out of touch with humanity and so locked into the system. I am utterly disgusted and I will copy this and post it now on all the review sites I can find to expose what frauds you are at caring about integrity and/or your customer's ability to protect themselves from you via recording calls to prove what was covered in the conversation. How is that a problem if you aren't doing anything on the calls that you wouldn't want to be recorded?

It won't let me do zero stars

It won't let me do zero stars. They are now scammers. They take money out of your account overnight when you're not watching. PLEASE BEWARE! Capital one is now a scam company. Do not trust them with your money. They steal it. I would recommend setting your money on fire over getting a bank account with them, much less headaches that way. Please understand after they did the discover transision they have tanked in quality. Can't even use your card in all places. Don't let them scam you like they did me. The stole $300 from me.

Don't trust the bank!

Will not do anything to help the customer. Contacted the fraud department about a dispute, and that has been a waste of time. 1st email said to send proof within 5 days or we will close the case. Did that and the case was still closed. Called a in and was told they would reopen the case because they did find the proof that I sent in, but 2wks after that;received another email saying the same thing. When I tried to resubmit the proof, the link said unavailable. I called and was told that the only option I had was to fax or mail in the proof. If I sent it by the link and you couldn't find it, how does faxing it or sending it by mail work. Long sorry short, the case was/is closed again because they refused to help the customer.

Capital One customer service is…incompetent

Capital One customer service is useless! I was trying to zelle money to an online legal company. I was a little skeptical at first but everything I could find said that the company was legit. The only issue was that for the court fees they needed payment either with zelle or a money order through the mail (which takes longer). I tried the zelle method to save time but it was flagged by capital one's fraud alert. I called capital one customer service and they told me that they couldn't tell me WHY it was flagged but they told me that THEY KNEW WHY. They just couldn't tell me!?!? Apparently it was a secret that they were not allowed to tell me. AWESOME! I was told wait 24 hrs and try it again. No luck, still didn't work. I called capital one back again and asked for the fraud alert to be lifted but they instructed me that there is nothing they can do. I insisted on talking to a manager because there IS ALWAYS someone who can override the computer software. I was patched through to someone named Diana or Diane who was VERY UNHELPFULL! She seemed incompetent. All she could tell me was that she can't do anything. I explained that it was my money and I should be able to use the way I want. If it's not a legit company that's MY PROBLEM because it's MY MONEY. I'm willing to take that risk. Like a parrot she just kept repeating that she didn't have the authority to help me and she didn't have the authority to connect me with someone who could help me! It was very annoying!
I'll be honest. I'm probably going to stay with capital one because their interest rates are good but I'm going to be looking for a better bank. Their customer service is horrible. Capital one managers seem weak. They project that they have no power or authority to do anything, which is shocking! I guess they are just "managers" in title alone. They have "no power" to do anything besides dismissing their client's complaints.

What is really wrong with traditional banking?
Why can't you people improve your processing time and customer experience?
I wouldn't blame anyone looking for alternatives because why not?

best matcha i’ve ever had.

i do not use capital one bank but i really needed to use the restroom so i went into the cafe as it was closest in soho New york and i ordered a matcha. i wasn’t expecting much because i was just needed the toilet but in my opinion, that was the best matcha i have ever had, no i’m not exaggerating, everything about it was perfect, the cold foam to the syrup as it was evenly spread through the drink. I believe it is even better than blank street matcha and the customer service was absolutely amazing aswell. If i had to live off one drink for the rest of my life it would be that vanilla and cherry matcha, it was AMAZING, the atmosphere was sublime, even the toilets were amazing so if you are ever in capital one bank, invest $8 in that matcha.

Can NOT USE Capital One debit in Morocco

Have a Capital One debit card for checking account and arrived in Casablanca expecting to do the normal thing, withdraw cash from an ATM at airport. Transaction could not be processed. Tried two other ATMs in downtown Rabat, still not possible. Called Capital One customer service and had agent shouting at me to use the web site to find an ATM location. Zero in all of Morocco. Can simply not get my own cash due to partnership with Discover. Will have to wire money to myself through Western Union, pay fees and interest, and miss a morning of scheduled tour events to get this done. Ridiculous. Absolutely FAIL from Capital One. I will move my accounts when back in Us, this is totally unacceptable when networks are worldwide and this is a basic expectation of any bank.

Do not use Capital One cards

Do not use Capital One credit cards, they are incompetent when you have paid your debt off and want to close your account. I finished paying my debt last year and have had to ring them numerous times because they fraudulently started delaying payments off my account to scam me for interest payments. I am sick and tired of ringing them to get them to sort themselves out. Very bad customer service and you will be lucky if you get an English speaker. I destroyed my card when I paid my debt off and now have to go through security emails everytime which always fails, they are a scam. Do not apply for their cards.

Capital One bought Discover card

Capital One bought Discover card. Someone intercepted the account and new card during the change and never realized the card was intercept til fraudulent charges were adding up on the account.they also open a Venture card account based on the diviner card information. Probably an inside job or someone working at capital One. Capital One had very poor service to get this fixed. DO NOT USE THEM.

Unprofessional Customer Service

Opened 2 CDs online, everything went fine with the first one, but couldn't add my husband as joint owner on the second. Called, first person was very helpful, but we got cut off. Called back, second person told my husband she'd walk him through the process and ended up getting him to open a checking account (which we insisted they close immediately). Eventually we insisted on a supervisor, who took over an hour to get it done. Second person and supervisor insisted they were unable to send codes to our phones then did so with no problem later. Worst, when I suggested we just close the account, I was told there would be penalties if closing the CD which had been opened that morning, and still not successfully. We will not be using this bank for anything else, and intend to transfer these CDs as soon as they are due - despite decent rates - all because of abysmal customer service.

Bad Bank

I’m frustrated and being honest: they delay my payments and charge me late fees when I have bills to pay because I need my money available. They question legitimate part-time work income, block transfers, and claim I can’t receive money unless it’s payroll. They hold and delay even Zelle transfers, even when it’s from people I know.

The Worst

I was on the phone with them for almost 30 minutes. The 1st rep couldnt speak clearly, I has to ask him over and over what was he saying. The second rep JACK that was taking my claim asked me the same questions over and over, he placed me on hold like 6 times. Unbelievable! how bad the customer service has gotten. They used to be so nice, helpful and fast.

Absolutely do not trust this financial…

Absolutely do not trust this financial institution with your business money. They called the person who wrote the check and confirmed funds. Called branch and branch confirmed.
Still decided to hole check for days which caused our business to stall and we lost clients.

This place is not a bank! They can not perform simple bank transactions like brick and mortar institutions can.

They are a complete joke!
