Capto Pilot product is quite cool

Capto Pilot product is quite cool. I am using it for DCS World. It is nativerly integrated and finally, like finally I can interact with my cockpit in VR using my hands. Integration is working out of the box. Some twich to be done in Steam VR to make sure it works. Maybe a tutorial will help a bit. Love the Flight Glove textile.

Thank you for your review. Also, appreciate the feedback. When you mean "twich" you mean probably the Steam VR tracker setup as hands or hand. ( We are not sure if you have two or one Capto Pilot). Clear in any case. Thanks. Regards. Capto Team

RIP Captoglove

RIP Captoglove. In case there was no doubt, sadly these are now defunct. The software no longer communicates with the apps and games as was once claimed. Technical support, which was never prompt or particularly responsive, has now ended.
Shame really.

CaptoGlove projects

We developed several projects. 2 drones and 1 Vr content.
The SDKs are not done for non expert developers but give access to the entire system and we did not spend a fortune. The quality of the hardware is superb. Maybe more examples or plug ins for the future would be a plus.

CaptoGlove Is what I've been searching for!

Ever since Virtual Reality started to become prominent I've always had one problem with it. Being a Flight Simulator Enthusiast I need to be able to interact with the sim using controllers, however, once you place a VR headset over your eyes you can no longer see the flight controller. CaptoGlove solves this entirely because you can control the aircraft and use your fingers to interact with buttons and switches in the cockpit. It's AMAZING and exactly what I've been looking for!

Hello Thomas, we are very happy that your experience with CaptoGlove has met your expectations. Our goal is to offer something that is missing today in this market, a simple, natural and innovative controller... and what is better than your own hand? Thanks for the feedback.

Great product with some work

Excellent product for controlling various applications with only your hands. Didn't appear to be quite as precise as externally tracked devices such as HTC's controllers but they provide the user the ability to grasp objects or the air instead of a controller. As a former Peregrine glove user, this feels like a natural and much more universally practical evolution. I really think pairing these with things like the new HTC trackers on accessories like light guns would make for a much more robust system than either on their own.

Dear Dylan, thank you very much for your answer. We appreciate you feedback, excellent point. We are using Capto for professional application and those kind of integration are sometimes needed because requested by the client. However, Capto comes with a 20DoF capability that is able to deliver more robust tracking for pure VR activities. Our first aim is to satisfy the huge community of existing gamers. They like to play with their favorite games (existing games, not supporting any VR system) and they cannot afford to equip their playing arenas with all the required infrastructure (laptop, trakcking, contents). They can talke control of their past, present and future videogames. Please continue to follow us and feel free to share with us your point.

I felt there are still things that need to be fixed or changed

1. Control

For entire time, I get the simple way to move it. However, when it comes to detail, It was a little far from what I actually control it.

2. Visual

I understand it came out from already successful program. Still, it is too old for users in these days; and quite far from what VR passioners expected.

Dear Jiwoon, thank you very much for your answer. We appreciate you feedback. Consider that the technology inside CaptoGlove is used to control remotely professional systems such as mini-UAV. The version that you tested is a two years' old prototype. In terms of Visual, even if we are not directly producing it, the game you tested is Eagle Dynamics' DCS World coupled with Oculus Headset. DCS is the most powerful engine available to run flight simulation to a level that can be considered professional.
