Easy to use.

Very good site

Service history is computer generated and false, which is what I really used the site for. My car is a Renault Clio, year 2010, it listed a total of 12 services, the first being 2017-03-27, at 4,553 miles, so 7 years after it was new! And it then had a total of 12 services listed the last on 2020-03-17 at 6,220 miles. Wow only 6,220 miles in 10 years and 12 services! Getting money back through my bank, no garage details or anything. Very disappointing indeed

I found the site easy to use and most helpful.
All the info was as I expected. No hidden horrors.

Paid for full check including service records which was, no service records on report but had all other data, slightly disappointed.

Great way to check ar tax status and cost free with options to check full history and more if buying will use again for its simplicity. thanks Dave

What a con done the free check on a used vehicle "appears to have a possible theft alert on record " with a red exclamation mark , and low & behold after coughing up £13 for a full report nothing appeared on the full report , what a low way of getting someone to spend the cash and nothing on file must be desperate for business if they have to bend the facts in order to get peoples money .

Have all the information 24/7 inc road tax prices which is very handy but overall i use this site alot so thoroughly recommend it..

Free car check is good as it tells you what you need to know.It's not in depth,you have to pay for that,but it is good.The basics are a good indicator of how the car is.
I always use this site

Car check may not be the cheapest check you will find but it is certainly worth the payment for the most in depth check you can ask for.
The difference of a few pounds can pay dividends if you are serious about a car purchase and want to know what spec the car left the factory with.

Easy to use.

I tried to purchase my service history as I have lost my log book. The website did not let me select any report so I thought you got to select this after making the payment however I was wrong. They just email you the report you already have full access to. I will be contacting the company to request a full refund. Totally misleading and absolutely useless.

Hi, I purchased 2 checks with £19 for my first car this Dec 2025, the carcheck report says the car had first service done in Germany with 0 mile mileage on the registration date.
I enquired the same with the dealer and they have confirmed it’s WRONG information, the car was manufactured in UK itself and it was never serviced outside UK.
I have raised the complaint to carcheck , but got no response!
Very unprofessional and dissapointing service.
It’s completely waste of money!

Led me to believe there had been past damage to my car to make me buy the report and when I went to buy the report it listed 2 for £9.99 however in the fine print it said £9.99/report so when I went to check out it was too late and I had already paid. Not happy as I am not down £20 and found out there was no past damage to my car as I had already expected. They are money gabby for charging £20 for two car checks and not displaying the real price well. Also not happy about them manipulating you into doing the damage checks by making it look like there have been damage reports.
