I use Reg Check more as a hobby, ie looking up registration numbers that I see on classic TV films and TV drama shows, just too mainly see if they are still registered too this day.

A lot of the information is incorrect…

A lot of the information is incorrect ie: internet history of listing price wise is £5k less, one being a month after purchase. Mileage check states this car did 10k miles in less in 16 days (15 Jan 2024 - 5 Feb 2024)It also states the car had done 75k miles in Feb 2024 when I purchased the car, it’s now Nov 2025 and it’s only done 73k now. According to the service records, it’s only be serviced twice, non since Nov 2017. I purchased the report for service and MOT records so it’s has not been helpful

We’ve reviewed the data and it appears that the mileage entry from 15 Jan 2024 (65,863 miles) came from an official MOT record, while the higher mileage entry on 5 Feb 2024 (75,000 miles) was sourced from an online listing (Carcraft). It’s possible that the seller entered an estimated or rounded mileage in that advert, which may explain the discrepancy.

We completely understand your frustration and have issued you a full refund. Additionally, we’ll send you a voucher so you can try our report on another vehicle in the future — we hope that experience will be more helpful.

Not happy

Paid got the result happy with that and an email to download. The download does not work it asks you to pay again. So now I cannot see the report unless I pay again

Paid for a full report,wanted to know…

Paid for a full report,wanted to know what the details of cat n damage are,received nothing expect a phone number which is no longer in use,the apparent insurance company used and a claim number, no record of what the details of the repairs or damage.
Pointless and expensive for providing nothing of use

Maurice was great

I was having an issue getting my document to load (my fault not theirs)

Maurice sorted this quickly attaching it to an email and the report gave great detail of my car.

Good value for money which saved me the effort of getting the details from the garage who serviced the car (as they were not very forthcoming with the details)
