’m really disappointed with Card.gift

’m really disappointed with Card.gift. The whole process of actually using the gift card is way too hard. Trying to transfer it and then use it online is ridiculous — it feels unnecessarily complicated and slow. The time frame to get it converted into an online gift card is completely unacceptable, especially when most places offer instant or near-instant access. A gift card shouldn’t require this much effort. I wouldn’t purchase from them again.

Digital gift card cancelled - no explanation

Ordered a digital card for same day delivery for my daughter’s birthday. Gave her the birthday card but no gift at the birthday dinner. Emailed this morning to enquire if it had been processed and the order was cancelled with no explanation. Have had to email again to ask why.

$150 Gift Cards on my retirement

I was given $150 Gift Cards on my retirement in July. You say Kogan.com.au is one of the businesses is where it can be redeemed. It is NOT.
Can I cash in anywhere? Then I could really use the money!
Be wary of these cards. You'd be better off buying a Coles card, they're a viable and reliable option.

SCAM!! They take your money and then “review” your order for 24 hours before delivering anything.

Scam site

Scam site, do not use.

I hot a card from here, and it not only won't activate but twice i called and get hung up on.

It says there is an issue with the balance despite my boss putting credit on the card when he purchased. Go to preze, or any other place to get a gift card.

NEVER AGAIN!
Purchase process was mostly easy, probably because they want your money. I was surprised that PayPal wasnt offered as a payment option. There was NO mention on the website that the gift cards weren't issued straight away. 40 hours after I made the purchase, I received an email saying that my order was cancelled... NO REASON WHY! The order amount was never refunded, despite the email saying that it had been. Also, AFTER the cancellation email, I received another email thanking me for my order.
I realise now why PayPal isnt offered as a payment option...... PayPal helps you to get your money back if you've been "scammed".

In regards of getting your funds back, we never actually hold funds from a voided order - these are "on hold" with your bank. These funds would of cleared overnight after we voided the order. Wish I had read more reviews before using this service. Bought a gift card for a child's birthday and opted to 'send now' on the day of his birthday. 24 hours later and I am still waiting having chased it up...with no specific timeline given as to when they will finally get around to sending it. I don't care if there are extra security issues that 'may come up'. Seems to be the standard excuse for taking money and not producing what has been promised. I strongly advise others to buy elsewhere.

Terrible

Terrible, wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Over 48 hours later & the gift card hasn't been received by the recipient. No reply to emails and I've now been on hold 20 minutes to try and get a refund. Prior to purchasing it says nothing about "reviewing purchases" which I find odd given it's only payment options are via debit or credit card.

I bought a gift card

I bought a gift card, was emailed advising it was rejected due to fraud concerns - I am buying this for a colleagues farewell gift. Then tried again, now it’s been over 24 hours with still no confirmed gift card. Called up the helpline and waited for over 30 mins, automated message said no operators were available. Also put in an online query with no response yet, very frustrating. I’m meant to be providing my colleague with the gift soon as they are leaving……

My experience

Was really easy to do but out of the two $5 gift cards I purchased only one was received. I sent an email to try and get the other one fixed but I haven’t had a reply back. Other then that miner issue great service, so happy there is loads of options for the gift cards
