Don‘t waste your time with this company
We’ve ordered boxes and it’s end of January and we still haven’t received them nor received a tracking number. After my first email I got a reply saying that I’ll receive a tracking within 48hrs, which did not happen. The reply to my second email was that due to weather they are experiencing difficulties and I should receive my order with the week. And that did not happen. We now have a case open with PayPal to get a refund. Don’t waist your time..

We're moving house and decided to buy from a small local business instead of a large company. They promised delivery would take 5 days.
After placing the order, we received a tracking link that didn't work. We emailed them about this but didn't even receive information about which courier was being used. Eventually, we managed to find a tracking number and had to try several courier websites at random until we discovered it was Yodel.
Today, 7 days after placing the order, the tracking information shows that the courier still does not have the items. What have they done with our money and our boxes during this time?
I will update this review with news in the upcoming days, but so far I would avoid this company at all costs. Because of their lack of responsibility, we have had to postpone packing and this adding more stress to our home removal. If the boxes don't arrive by Monday (10 days after ordering!), we will purchase boxes elsewhere and request a refund.
UPDATE (24/01/2026)
I have now received my boxes. It appears that ONLY AFTER posting my opinion on Facebook and Trustpilot did they rush to send a next-day delivery. I received the boxes and the rest of my order today, 8 days after placing it.
I am pasting the parcel’s tracking history below to demonstrate this. Note that the order status did not update at all after the 16th (when I placed the order) until yesterday 23rd at 22:08 — five hours after I posted my online reviews.
It is disappointing to realise that contacting the company directly by email had no effect whatsoever, and that only public reviews prompted them to act and do their job.
The boxes are good quality and all itmes in the order are there.

Lost Order
I placed an order with Cardboard Boxes in December and they seem to have lost it. When I chased it they hastily assured me it would be delivered in the next 48 hours. To make matters worse DPD failed to deliver and claimed they had 'missed' us, although two of us were in all day and there was no record on our doorbell cam. I continue to wait...
Update: boxes eventually turned up, but very poorly packed. I wish I had read these reviews first!

Awful deceitful incompetent company
Awful deceitful incompetent company. Delivered items were not as advertised despite repeated delays. Simple order for ‘standard’ product advertised as suitable for shipping computer tower unit. Completely different shoddy items eventually arrived. Useless! Save your money and stay away from this outfit!
Great company, good customer service.
Just dealt with this company. EVRI (not them) mucked up my order delivery. They resent the order and I've had prompt and pleasant dealings with their customer services team who have dealt with my issue quickly and to my satisfaction.
I realise that other people have had issue but my experience of their customer service was great.

Awful, scam company with useless customer services
Awful company, which is a complete scam. I placed an order on the 20th November and still haven't received the parcel 1 month later, despite their website stating delivery would occur within 3-5 working days. After endless emails, customer services are awful in getting back to me and make it nearly impossible to contact them. Avoid at all costs, as you will not receive your parcel and you will be fighting for a refund for months.

Should have read the reviews. I actually did receive my items but one set of boxes were much smaller than they should have been which made them useless to me. Contacted Customer service to be told that this would be passed onto ‘dispatch’. I didn’t hear from ‘dispatch’ so emailed again, to be told they are very busy at this time of year and to give them 14 days. Queue 14 days and still nothing and now I am being ignored.
Shocking service
Shocking service and a terrible attitude to customers. I ordered two quad-wall boxes. They did tell me they would take 12 days to make and deliver, and I accepted that. But they then shipped the boxes via Evri. The boxes sat with Evri in their warehouse for 10 days. I called Cardboardboxes to try to speed the delivery up, as I was having serious problems with a customer in Switzerland who wanted his product delivered. I had no feedback from either Cardboardboxes or Evri and no site of the boxes whereabouts. I eventually chose an alternative method to ship my products, and informed Cardboardboxes that I no longer wanted the product, and requested a refund. The next day the boxes were delivered but to the wrong address and minus one of the additional items I ordered. I called Cardboardboxes and again requested a refund only to be told I put a business name in the address delivery details (the delivery was to a private home address) and therefore I was not eligible for a refund. I respectfully said I would have to complain to Walsall Trading Standards, and the response was, 'Well, you do that then,' and that's how the call ended. I have the boxes in my garage and still do not have the bubble wrap I ordered. Needless to say, I will never do business with Cardboardboxes again, and I'd highly recommend no one else does either. These people do not care about the customer.
Misleading product info, poor service and no accountability
This entire experience has been appalling. Their customer service is rude and obstructive. The product information is misleading. Their policies are ignored when it suits them, and they take no responsibility for errors or damage.
I ordered a large box on 28 November and selected the option for no easy grip handholds and for delivery in 3 to 5 days. On 5 December I received an email saying the order was complete and dispatched, but when I tried to track it, the courier’s system showed they had not received the parcel.
I waited four days for the tracking information to update with no change. I contacted the company and was told to wait 48 hours. I waited, still no update. I contacted the courier who confirmed they had not received the goods. I contacted the company again and was once again told to wait another 48 hours. Every time I called or emailed I was met with rude, dismissive and unhelpful responses to wait a further 48 hours. There was no assistance or follow-up at any stage.
The box finally arrived on 16 December, more than two weeks after dispatch and well outside the 3 to 5 day delivery window. The box was damaged with a crushed and torn flap, making it completely unsuitable for its intended purpose. It also had cut-out handholes, even though I had selected the option for no handholds. Only after raising this was I told that cut-outs are standard and that the “Easy Grip” option refers to plastic inserts. This is not explained anywhere on the product page and is completely misleading.
I reported the damage immediately and within the three-day timeframe stated in their own returns policy, which clearly says that if a defect, fault or damage is reported within that period, action will be taken to replace or refund the item. Instead, I was told the box was “fit for purpose” and I could return it for a refund at my own cost. I was willing to return the item, but not at my own expense when it arrived damaged and the fault was not mine. They refused to cover return postage and said they would not be engaging further.
I also requested a VAT invoice multiple times. I was told one would be in the box, then that it would generate after delivery, then that it uploads overnight. None of this happened. No invoice was ever provided despite repeated requests.
I only wish I’d seen the other reviews before placing an order. I won’t be making the same mistake twice.
How can the company improve?
To improve, the company needs to take on board the consistent feedback it is receiving from customers. The current approach is not working and is clearly leading to repeat problems.
Start by making product listings clearer so customers understand exactly what they are ordering. When options are provided, explain what they mean in practical terms to avoid confusion.
Ensure that VAT invoices are generated and sent promptly without the customer needing to chase multiple times. This is essential for business customers.
Your returns policy should be applied fairly. If damage is reported within the stated timeframe, the customer should not be expected to cover the cost of returning the item.
Most importantly, invest in customer service. Customers experiencing issues should be met with helpful, constructive support, not repeated delays or dismissive responses. A business cannot grow if it alienates customers when problems arise. The volume and consistency of poor reviews make it clear that something fundamental needs to change.

I placed an order for moving boxes on November 19th with a promised delivery time of 3–5 working days. The order didn’t arrive until December 8th. Customer service was very unhelpful and couldn’t provide any tracking information. The delivery came long after I needed the boxes, and customer service couldn’t hold, cancel, or return the order to the sender. I’m now stuck with boxes I no longer need.

I urge you not to buy from this company. One star is too many. It took 3 weeks for my boxes to arrive with nothing but 'check the delivery link' from customer services. When they eventually arrived they were battered and poorly made so the sides had to be taped down. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Awful customer service and scammers…
Awful customer service and scammers avoid! I ordered 20 postal boxes 5 weeks ago and keep being told to wait for a carrier notification. Rung them to speak to someone and the lady was very rude asking me to send copies of emails to prove I wasn't lying. Had to dispute with credit card as they are dodging refund requests.

Ordered some boxes for an exhibition that was in 4 weeks from ordering. Delivery flashed up when on their website as 3-5 working days so plenty of time I thought! Chased after 9 day as no delivery, customer services were rude, they said they couldn’t chase the courier but then in my second call to them said they couldn’t chase be she didn’t know what courier they use!! Lots of phone calls (no advertised number on website so goggled it!) and lots of times and dates given for when they would be deliver in 2-3 days from my calls. Surprise surprise the didn’t arrive and I missed getting sorted for the exhibition I was showing at. I go an email address from customer services (no they can’t pass you through to that team) to ask for a refund. I emailed 5 or 6 times during a two week period asking for a refund with no repose- then started to cc Customer services in, still nothing. I have just received a refund but not sure if that’s via them or because I started the charge back process through my bank.
