Never ever works properly and extremely quiet
I purchased the pack talk edge. Only the intercom works ok but very quiet, so over 50mph can’t hear anything. Radio, music and sat nav has never ever worked properly. Awful product

Absolutely awesome device, well made, battery last ages it looks cool, i absolutely love it.... My rides with music are just SO much better, i wish the speakers had abit more volume / clarity but this is splitting hairs. One thing that is annoying is the controls are simple to change music via the device, for example, listening to spotify with my phone in my side bag, one press of the volume dial pauses music, great.... then press it again and it switches over to a radio channel i was never listening too. Its really frustrating so i find myself turning down the volume instead of being able to do a quick mute.
As mentioned battery last ages. Bought with a new Ls2 dragon forged carbon helmet you get the vat off the unit. no brainer. Wish id have got the top unit now but.... the one under it still does the business :-)
Cardo Edge review by a 72 year old
My son and I just got the Cardo Packtalk Edge and LS 2 Advant X helmets. He got me one as my 72nd birthday present. I can't believe how well the Cardo works and how comfortable the LS 2 helmet is, and quite. My son had his chin guard up and there was no wind noise at all, none. the audio was clear and loud as could be. He was listening to music on his and it would lower the music volume when I spoke. at times we were about a half mile apart and you couldn't tell at all.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a communications device (or helmet).
Absolutely terrible post purchase support
Packtalk edge issues with mic constantly disconnecting and been spamming support for a month with no luck. Started to comment on all their insta posts aswell giving them poor reviews and got a message instantly but no resolution yet. DO NOT BUY DIRECT, buy through someone locally who you can return to if you have issues.
Support service is a joke
Support service is a joke. They send you to fill in a ridiculous form that they never answer. The paradoxical thing is that on the web site you can read the following slogan: We are always here to help you. They are a joke... I've been writing for 2 weeks and there is no answer at all..... What happened Cardo Team, Elon arrived with the DOGE :)

I found the company to be quite unhelpful. I purchased the Spirit HD Duo Pack during a Valentine's promotion, only to later realize that there was an updated version available for a slightly higher price. When I contacted them to request a change, I was told that my item had already shipped, and they did not provide any assistance on how I could modify my order. This lack of support suggests that they are more interested in moving inventory than in serving their customers. Additionally, if you are ordering from Canada, be prepared for an extra $42 in taxes. I would advise against ordering directly from their.

Broke a volume thumbwheel on a packtalk neo. Tried numerous times to reach support, using their web portal (what they recommend) as well as FB. Nobody answers, just goes into a black hole. There is no support, so nothing really to evaluate. Just a black hole.

Had my set just under 3 years
Had my set just under 3 years, Batteries died. Contacted the company about getting new batteries for my units. I was told we don't sell or replace them! Don't you think servicing the units would be a important factor in owning your product! So I spent 450.00 for just about 3 years use, what a waste of money! Then I was told we are having a sale right now, Why would I buy another set so they I would have to replace them again. I think not!!

My Cardo Packtalk suddenly stopped when I was in Europe relying on my headset for sat nav instruction
When I returned to the UK I contacted Cardo on 4 separate occasions to ask for their assistance 4 weeks later I have still not had a reply When you pay a lot of money for something and it just stops working for no reason and you have zero support from the very company you have paid for the product it tells me I should never trust or use this company ever again

Cardo did a Bluetooth system for Ruroc helmet but it doesn’t connect to any other systems even not to other Cardo systems!
And is not connecting to the Cardo app too !
You buy a Cardo system based on there good reputation and quality, but at the end you find your self with a product designed for Ruroc and you can only listen to music!!!
If I could do it all over again
If I could do it all over again, I would have gone with Sena. If for no other reason than Cardo’s NON-EXISTENT support. Cardo made the decision to hire a call center in the Philippines, where no one at the call center knows anything about the product. They read from a script and then basically tell you they cant help you. Horrible.
Not what they seem.
Am I the only one that thinks cardo packtalk is rubbish? Every single time our group tries to pair up these headsets it's the most impossible and awkward thing to achieve. We either end up not going on the ride or using other apps like discord or group calling. The system sucks.
Eventually we might get it all paired up... couldn't tell you how or what we did to achieve this just happens. But if it does happen the app says its disconnected from my headset and I can no longer change any of my settings. If I was able to return this headset I would.

Worst one I ever had.
Voice commands work when off bike or going really slow. At legal speeds forget it.
Connected to a nav app on phone misses the first couple words of navigation instructions most of the times.
And to top it up the buttons are worst ever. Extremely difficult and hard to press wearing gloves.
Funny enough most of the reviews on YouTube are very positive - I wonder why.

Wish I'd read the reviews before buying a Freecom 4X.
It can't provide voice control (main reason I bought it) when connected to BMW connected ride/TFT.
I've rang and emailed customer support and not had a response, 5 out of 5 calls went straight to answerphone.
So not a great product and non existent support.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. No phone number, no email address, my microphone stopped working. Ive got cardo spirit, great value for money; amazing system. However the mic stopped working and i cant have it replaced under their warranty because i cant get in touch with their customer support? they have No customer service lines, or emails on their website. just a fill in your info page and we’ll get back to you sorta thing, they wont get back to you by the way.
Long time Cardo owner - Getting FED UP.
I have been a Cardo owner/customer for about five years. I have had to replace a few of them, but have never had an issue getting through to customer service. My latest problem (microphone stopped working) I purchased a new one, and that didn't work either. I have been trying for WEEKS to get through to Cardo Support with NO success. The contact form on their website does not work (you can fill it out, but the "send" button NEVER engages, so you have no way to 'send' a message. I have called THREE different phone numbers that I could find - one in Plano TX gives an immediate & very fast busy signal every time. The number for Pennsylvania keeps on perpetual hold & no one EVER answers. I have tried using email addresses such as Info@CardoSystems and Support@CardoSystems and get NO response whatsoever. What is going on with this company? Are they going out of business?
