Poor customer service

I recommended these to a relative, sadly they received very poor customer service. I won’t be recommending these again. I won’t be going back when I need to replace my mattresses either!

Good Frame shame about the Mattress and ancillary equipment

This company has three reviews of google giving it a five star rating. We purchased two single adjustable beds from Care and Comfort in July 2020 and took delivery in August. The reason for purchasing from them was that they are local and appeared to have just what we needed, due to my wife's disability. The installers from the factory were very good and did a good job of installing the two singles as a super king bed. The owner of the business (Andrew Gardner) who sold us the beds does not however, appear to have a sound knowledge of his product, or omits something that might cause the customer to think a little more before committing to the sale. As we were to discover, if you order a bed that needs to vertically rise it comes with traditional slats, not the 5 part adjustable podded one as advertised and promoted in their video, we also discovered that we were missing a draw, which according to the installers cannot be fitted to the slatted single bed due to the mechanism. We also purchased remote floor lighting for if we have to get up in the night, which works perfectly well on only one side of the bed, as only one frame has the correct aperture for the light. We also had to purchase an additional surge protected extension lead with 8 sockets, during the installation, which we were not aware we needed. Furthermore, I would like to address the massage function which is built into the mattress, which if you have wooden floorboards under your carpet, will cause an awful lot of noise, as it vibrates through the bed frame and disturbs the other person in the bedroom. As I say we took delivery in August 2020 and received a refund for both the draw and one massage unit as we returned one, when we changed one mattress, which I must say was done promptly and courteously. Other than the one mattress that we changed, we slept well however, six months later we are experiencing problems with our sleep, in terms of back ache and waking during the night due to discomfort therefore, we are now looking at alternative mattresses at some considerable additional cost, as the ones supplied are far from satisfactory being to thin and not offering the comfort and support advertised. The frame, covering and headboard are well made and no doubt will stand the test of time, the mattress's and add on items however, leave a lot to be desired. I feel that someone who really knew their product, would have addressed the issues we faced at the time of sale, so overall a little disappointed hence the rating.
