Customers also reported issues with payments not being applied as expected and credit limits being unexpectedly reduced, even with a good payment history. Furthermore, customer service was frequently described as unhelpful, difficult to reach, and sometimes unprofessional, with some experiencing language barriers. However, some customers also noted that the service can be helpful for managing medical and dental expenses, particularly when utilizing promotional no-interest offers. I received a card with care credit with 1000 limit. Have been using for my puppy. Highest use was at 840. Have paid down now to 620 including the first promotion no interest. Next isn’t due until 2027 but planned on paying another hundred each month until paid off. However no letter just a statement showing that out of the blue the take me down to a credit limit of 670. No explanation nothing. Never been late sometime multiple payments a month. So now I’m just going to close my account all together.

Don't trust this company....they don't…

Don't trust this company....they don't disclose what they like to call trailing credit fees. Basically if you are ever late on a payment they will charge you a late fee plus an interest fee and you will have to pay that interest fee for two payment cycles even if you keep paying on time after that one late payment. Oh, and this is the case for deferred interest purchases. There are better credit cards out there.

I'd give them 0 if I could.

I'd give them 0 if I could.

Did a balance transfer with my bank to get out of their atrocious interest fees. Close the account and A MONTH LATER they charged the CLOSED ACCOUNT an interest fee. Currently fighting that because I'm not paying a fee on a closed account.

This company is nothing but a scam

This company is nothing but a scam! "Oh, let us help you in your most vulnerable state like a medical emergency"...You are better off applying for a credit card! I just learned about how much they "helped" my daughter, NOT! Please don't fall for their scam if you have any other choice. POS, RIP-OFF business right here. Don't fall for it!

This company will lower your credit…

This company will lower your credit score . They have tactics that at first I just thought was coincidence but given the chance to lower your credit limit will do it so whenever even if you've been doing good. They will not allow you to keep your credit line low. It was 2000, after it was paid down went to 1400 after paid down 600 now 250. They did this consecutively over a course of 6 months after ive have this account for a few years. The worse part is they lower it before they close the statement so before you can pay so your previous payment won't show and theyll have you over 85% of your credit line., its impossible

No Integrity.

I recently applied to partner with CareCredit and was denied. Reason being that I did not have a MD, DO, or Nurse Practitioner on-site to diagnose illnesses or prescribe medications. When I reached out to ask for clarification as to how they determine who to approve and who not to approve those who do not have a MD, DO or Nurse Practitioner on-site cause I know of a few standalone profesional providers like myself who have been approved and are partnered with CareCredit. I received no reply and no return calls. It’s really sad, if the denial is legitimate across the board for all professional providers why not reply.

Approved for $500

Approved for $500. Had the card for 2 years. Used it 3 or 4 times. NEVER LATE...NEVER OVER LIMIT. About 18 months when I owed about 300 on it they suddenly dropped my limit to $250. Last month I paid it off and within 2 weeks they CANCELED IT! LAME LAME LAME. I have 2 very elderly cats, that card was my emergencycard for them. I used it completely responsibly...like I do all of my cards. My payment history on the credit bureaus is 100 % on time. These people are a holes.

Their app is false advertising

Their app is false advertising. If I could give them a 0 I would. They falsely advertise who uses them or is affiliated with them. The stores on their app aren’t affiliated with them. So you might use them for an emergency and get there and guess what they aren’t even affiliated! Then customer service doesn’t even understand the premise of this and are rude! I spoke to Samantha and Jess and they don’t care or even file a complaint number!

Penalized for paying your account

BEWARE! If you attempt to pay down your balance and make a large payment, they will freeze your card for 7 to 21 business days. That could be almost a month that you will not be able to use your card in an emergency! You are penalized for paying your down account!

Do not do it

Do not do it! They prey on desperate people trying to save their pets, fix their teeth, pay a deductible on a life saving surgery just to turn around and screw you worse that the most ghetto credit card, even worse than a pay day loan. I paid 4 times the minimum payment but they rewarded me by charging $168 for interest, IN ONE MONTH. $168 FOR INTEREST ON $1000, FOR ONE MONTH! The minimum payment was $40. This company should be shut down

18 Months No Interest, what a crock of SH!+

I made two purchases on two separate occasions. I called to request the 18 months no interest on those purchases. On both occasions they would not give it to me. I don't see why they could previously do it, but now they can't. I'm upset!

Big rip off, deceiving

I understood that my chiropractic charge of $2800 would have zero interest if paid off in 18 months, but I did not know that if it was not paid off ALL the interest for those 18 months would be added in and also the interest rate is 40%! I was able to make a final payment of that initial charge with a few days and they refunded my interest, but I had used the card a few more times and now the interest is 40%. I also tried to pay it off with a zero interest transfer balance card and Care Credit declined the payment. They are a joke.

Do not use this card service

Do not use this card service. They take advantage of people in a time of need and it is not explained in detail. If there is a balance at the end (which I assumed there would be none) and you don’t pay it off, they will charge you all the back interest at 32.99%. This is borderline stealing in my opinion. Taking advantage of a vulnerable population that use it in times of desperation is unforgivable. I ended up paying off my balance in full after finding this out because and I still got a statement for interest due the next month. What credit card does this? And if you’re gonna give credit like this, you should send a statement making them aware that the promotional period is ending, and there will be a balance due. They sure let you know if you’re late on a payment. I don’t understand why there isn’t courtesy the other way. Will not use them again. Everyone should file a complaint with their states consumer and financial affairs division, write to their attorney general as well as all of our local politicians. Also the medical, dental, and medical veterinary examiners board. This should not be happening.

Synchrony is a terrible company

Synchrony is a terrible company. Closed my account with no permission, even though I used it often over the last 12 months. Charged a fee for an issue on their end and would not waive it. I have since closed all cards with this bank and will no longer do business with them.

Not a good experience - RUN AWAY

Not a good experience. I had to finance an outrageous fee for neurotrophy treatment. People in pain will try anything to get relief. The cost was $11,000 for a few hundred dollars worth of equipment and a quick chiropractic visit once a month or so. Enter Care Credit to save the day. No interest as long as you pay regularly. Today I saw over $5,000 added to my accounts on a balance of about $4,500. (Sounds like a Vegas loan shark) I found out that it was in the fine print that the no intertest was for only one year. Now they have the upper hand an I assumed that the payments they billed me were designed to pay off the debt in time to avoid the Vegas style interest. They were NOT. I'm convinced that the payment schedule is designed to sneak up on the customer with a gotcha! I understand caveat emptor so I can only blame myself for this oversight. Still my recommendation is RUN AWAY. I can get a no interest credit card with more than a year promotion and not get hit with a 131% interest charge. Balance of $2,524.99 charged $3,300.35 in interest.

Don'y deal with morons!

Their visual verification software sucks. First, it kept reporting that my Android phone's camera was not there. I called them 3 times, and 3 times they insisted on sending me a new link, assuring me that it would work that time. I've been a computer software professional for many years and know how that shit works. They kept acting according to the definition of insanity. Second, I tried to complete verification using my wife's phone. It took 5 go-rounds to complete it b/c it kept nitpicking about the video and pictures. Finally, when it was satisfied with visual verification, the site told me to call an 800 number. When I called, I was told they denied my application even though my credit rating is way over 800. Morons!

0 integrity company

I used to recommend Carecrediy to everyone. After sychrony bought them though it screwed up the log in without warning so I couldnt pay a bill or access my cards and when I called to make a payment they entered my information wrong and then refused to remove the charge they put on my card for their mistake nor would they call back after I called 4 times over 3 months. This company is unethical and if I didnt need mt credit I would have never paid thay $30 because I certainly didnt owe it to them. I am canceling my card and will never use sychrony again. I get that no company has integrity anymore but the principal of this was clear. They caused a problem which made me call, they caused a problem by entering my account information wrong, they caused a problem by charging me $30, they caused a problem by never returning my call, they caused a problem by refusing to remove a charge they shouldn't have charged me and it was wrong. I am furious I have given sychrony my buisness ever and will never do so again. I genuinly hope syncrony crashes and goes out of buisness. This wasnt about the money. Obviously I have $30 but so does synchrony and it was the principle of it and this company clearly doesnt know what principles are. The customer service was non existent. I kept calling over months anf was told to keep waiting and they would resolve. Only they never did.
