I don’t think my agent negotiated anything with the dealership. The first vehicle he presented to me was $10K over what I wanted the out the door price to be. The vehicles he then followed up with were back east, I’m in California. He kept saying he was waiting for a call back (few days) from the dealership where I had suggested a vehicle to negotiate. The vehicle information and price I sent my agent was the same price he came back with. Meaning he did not negotiate anything with the dealership. This is after he said he was able to get $3K knocked off. I was very disappointed with this service and this was a waste of my money.

Their information and tools were helpful and did make parts of the car-buying process easier, especially understanding pricing. However, the service didn’t quite live up to the hype. Some advice felt generic and communication was slower than expected. I would have appreciated a phone call. Overall, useful — just not outstanding.

This is a great tool. Just make sure you are checking in on negotiations from time to time. You may wish to make some adjustments depending on the counters or have a better understanding of how the responses are from the dealer.

I could walked in any dealers and get the same deal I did not save any money going with you guys but loosing $850. I paid MSRP and all the add-on products, and the $2000 discount was offered to any buyers by the Dealer. My mistake was I thought you guys bargained and it was an extra discount. I don’t believe you guys watch or listen to Ray when he says MSRP is just a suggested price and any item that is taxable could be bargained but obviously it didn’t happened in my case. Unfortunately I noticed it after I purchased the car.

I'd rate my experience as follows:
1. on the purchase of a new car: 6 stars! saved over 7k off msrp.
2. on the sale of our 3 yr old car: 3 stars. I obtained better offers on my own.

Overall well worth the fee charged!

Secured the used car I wanted at lower mileage than I expected and at my price point within my time frame.

Was going to buy new vehicle so went to the internet and found Car Edge. They had several YouTube videos on how to deal with dealerships and what to expect when buying a vehicle. I found this to be VERY USEFUL and really boosted my confidence. Armed with this knowledge, what to expect, and how to deal with the sales people I went out and bought the vehicle. After signing up to their website they didn't overload my email inbox with requests or advertisements which was greatly appreciated and actually made me want to keep going to their website. The one thing I would request is a video on the optional equipment listed on the dealership website vs how car edge lists the items. Overall my experience with Car Edge was fantastic and I would highly recommend them when buying a vehicle.

As just another hack attempting to gain knowledge on the car buying process, You Tube was the go to of course. I stumbled upon Zach and Ray's videos and was hooked. Watched all of them and took in their live spots almost everyday at 12:00 Noon while I had my lunch. After several weeks my knowledge and confidence were through the roof! I was bulletproof on the sales floor and in the box for battle with the finance department. I strategically waited until the week between Christmas & the New Year to make my move.
