Parking fine
I received a parking fine for an overstay in an Exeter Car park . I wrote appealing the fine explaining some difficult extenuating circumstances. Carflow responded very quickly waiving the fine .They were very understanding . Carparking companies often get a very bad press so when praise is due it should be given .

Quite happy to discuss this in court. I have a strong defence that proves my innocence. An impartial judge will throw this straight out.
Ive responded to Carflow and they aren't interested in listening.

I emailed Carflow to check I'd paid the appropriate car parking charge via the RingGo app. I received confirmation first thing next morning that I had paid appropriately. So it was a quick response but if I'd have been fined it would be too late to avoid it. RingGo AI helpline was not helpful. What would be helpful is signage to say it doesn't matter what time of day shows on your ticket/app purchase, and it doesn't matter if you buy more than one ticket and there's a gap in the time, as long as the total minutes purchased are at least equal to the total time parked. Hard to say that in a few words!
The most considerate parking ticket company.
I received a parking ticket after I was delayed getting back to my vehicle whilst volunteering for a charity event . I contacted Car flow through their appeals procedure to explain my position and the contributing factors that had delayed my return and the delay in their parking charge notice. They were really prompt in their response, they were compassionate with my cause and supported me with the charge, that is a first that I have ever experienced such humanistic and considerate response to a parking charge. Could not rate them ay higher.

I parked for 10 mins over the 4 hours which was unavoidable being I had someone disabled with me and appealed the fine. I received a response back within 48 hours and very pleased to hear that on this occasion I was let off the fine. Thank you Carflow.

i overstayed my time limit by 20 minutes due to a visit to the hospital where my mother in law was in a critical condition. Car flow were very understanding and waivered the fine even though time limits are clearly displayed at the car park.

Issued a PCN. Company desperately trying to avoid my appeal through popla. Company tried to brag about their high success chances in appeals. Pops assessor asserted that their legal responses to my appeal were not accurate. I won appeal. Never pay these predatory companies.

After not receiving any parking fines a letter from a Bailiff company with a £340 fine.. because we have a rental property it was claimed that fines were sent there even though vehicle has been registered since 2020 at our home address that the bailiff seem to find??? I've messaged Carflow that manage Trostre retail park and hope that I have a positive response.. Gutted as I've never had Bailiffs chasing me before.. poor management from this company and why couldn't they find my address id the other company could? They could put you in some serious trouble ccj's and balls your credit up.

What a great attitude from a car-park company. so unexpected but so nice to see
Parked near the hospital. Overstayed my parking by only a few minutes when my 90 year old mum took a turn for the worse just as I was due to leave. I got a ticket. Fair enough. I was over by a couple of minutes.
I paid it - then wrote to them explaining why and that I hadn't understood how to pay for the overstay so perhaps it could be clearer on the signage. They answered my query and even refunded the charge.
So nice to find a big organisation with compassion and a human side. Well done

Carflow took full account of the circumstances that led to a parking -charge being levied on my vehicle. Their response was to explain the procedure to follow if I found myself in that predicament again. Carflow also quashed the fine! I greatly appreciate the understanding shown by this company.
4 hours short
Staying for a maximum of 4 hours is not long enough of once in a while meeting with family or friends when doing bowling or buffets.as long clients pay the number of hours parked it should be fine and should have no limit, unless parking is done overnight which should not be allowed.thank you.

I made a genuine mistake of putting in the wrong code for parking and as a gesture of goodwill, the fine was cancelled. I received a response very quickly.

The appeals procedure was easy and they responded quickly and sympathetically. I just wish the company could see the problem for disabled patrons who have the same time in the carpark as abled bodied patrons.I hope they can review this protocol
