The worst customer service in Denmark

I really like their bikes and I gave them so many chances to answer my technical questions and to make an offer on the bike that I wanted to purchase together with all the added extras, I've been to their shop 2 times, talking to different persons and also calling their main phone number listed on their website, and what I can say is that they have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! If this is how they treat their customers before purchasing, I can only imagine how will be after purchasing. Really bad! Hire someone who knows how to sell and knows the products! I've also contacted other bike shops in Copenhagen and definitely you could see that they knew the technical details and knew how to sell their bikes. The only problem is that we want a bike with steering on the wheels and not on the box, and it's hard to find these kind of bikes.
Stay away from their shop! I've just waisted my time...

Cargokid offers a decent experience…

Cargokid offers a decent experience with good quality electric cargo bikes at reasonable prices. Delivery was prompt, customer service was responsive, and the bikes perform well for heavy loads. However, the lack of package tracking and extra charges for delivery and initial servicing slightly diminish the overall convenience. Overall, a solid choice but room for improvements.

Bike is ok when new but doesn't age…

Bike is ok when new but doesn't age very well. The battery and tires had to be changed after only a couple of years, the zipper on the caleche broke after a couple of months, and the box is not in great shape (some of the screws fell off)... so perhaps cheaper to buy, but expensive to maintain and repair

DO NOT BUY, YOU WILL REGRET LIKE ME!

I will not encourage anyone to buy their bikes. I bought the Economy Deluxe El-ladcykel February 2023. Within just 2 months, the brake started making insane noise. I sent them an email and they asked me to check with a mechanic. It was checked but the noise never went away until now. 2 weeks after purchase, the zip of the plastic cover broke which they sent a new one but when you move the steer to turn all the way to both sides, the brake handle sort of gets pushed by the plastic, leaving it to not move freely. All the accessories on the bike are trash. I have my front lights broken already(they fall off due to loose screws ), the leather on the handle peeled off, the string on the front door lock broken.
Lastly, just yesterday and today, my fully charged battery could not take me back and forth on less than 4km in a day. The battery turns off after I bike at 4th or 5th gear. I was picking up my daughters, which takes me approx. 1.6km in and out. This means i do 1.6km X 4 a day and this useless bike can not do it. It’s frustrating to see how this is turning out. Problems over problems and the bikes are not cheap.

2 years in and everything has broken down

If you look through the reviews most are positive. Most are also written pretty much straight after delivery. You get a 500 crown check to shop for with your purchase if you write a review. So I’m guessing that’s why. We have had our bike for less than 2 years now and pretty much everything has broken. It’s the electric cargo bike. We had it shipped to Sweden where we live and during our first drive the seat cracked, like literally broke in half and ripped of a piece of the sideboard. I wanted to return it but customer support didn’t really want to take it back to Denmark and pay us back for the bike and all the shipping. They were very reasonable though and wanted to meet our needs. They sent us a new seat and board plus paid for us having it assembled. Shortly after the zipper broke on the cover. They sent us a new one no questions asked. Then the brakes broke. We had it fixed and they paid for it. Like I said the customer support were reasonable but at the same time - this is not a cheap bike despite the fact it might be cheaper than some. Should really so many things break within the first few months? Now the new cover they sent has broken too even if it was the premium version. The right hand brake stopped working again and we just had it fixed, the gears have never worked from 3-4. You have to take it down to 2 and then go up, not down for it to work. The battery, after less than 2 years, works for about 30 min all in all, and then it needs to charge for a really long time to get back to full. When we had the bike fixed and served last time the guy fixing it said we should think about getting the rims changed. We were like what do you mean? That shouldn’t be a problem after 1,5 year? He couldn’t believe it was a new bike, he thought it was old. The person we took it to the first time to get it fixed basically said all the materials on the bike were crap and that our purchase had been a bad one.

Next, we are of course sorry that you have had problems with your cargo bike - however, we can see in our system that we have helped you every time you have contacted us.
However, one must expect that there will be wear parts on the bike that need to be maintained and replaced, such as brake pads and other moving parts.

This is my first time writing a message…

This is my first time writing a message like this, but it's so horrible that I'm writing it. This time I bought a bicycle roof cover and pole. These are easily damaged and destroyed. This is the fourth roof cover in the past two years. Also, while I was driving, the mudguard cover on my tire came off and caught a bicycle riding behind me, causing me to get yelled at. The front wheel spokes also broke. And maybe it was unlucky or the quality of the tires was too cheap, but I've had a flat tire about 10 times so far. It was too expensive to have it repaired at a bicycle shop, so I started repairing it myself as much as possible. Also, brakes often break. I'm too short to reach the pedals, so this bike is the only way I can carry my child. However, I can absolutely say that I do not recommend this dangerous and fragile Cargo Kid bike to anyone. This puts the lives of young children at risk. I explained these problems many times to several bicycle shops and had them serviced and maintained many times. Also, I did not keep the two years of receipts you pointed out. But are receipts that important? The point is that those who sell cars for transporting children and cargo have no regard for the lives of their buyers. As long as you keep making these things, don't say you can put your kids on this bike. I hope everything will improve. It's the first time in my life since I was born that I've seen a bicycle break in so many parts in such a short period of time, and in a way it's shocking. And their response is extremely inappropriate.
