MERCHANDISE MISREPRESENTED AND PHOTOS MANIPULATED BY SPECIAL LIGHTING
This company purports to be located in Kissimmee Florida and sells through Etsy, which is where I found them advertising. I did not realize that they do not qualify for the typical Etsy payment protections and they only use PAYPAL. (This is the sure sign of a scammer, by the way.) I did not know that there were sellers on Etsy like this. Anyway, I purchased a gorgeous piece of butterscotch yellow and blue amber to use in jewelry making, but what I received was an ugly dun-colored stone. No blue. No yellow. Just brown. They charged me $5.95 for shipping but could not give me a tracking number. FINALLY, it arrived and, as mentioned, it was an ugly brown stone. The Seller was contemptuous toward me and pointed out some HIDDEN, SMALL PRINT at the bottom of their shop page that says that the colors ONLY SHOW UP UNDER A PARTICULAR KIND OF LIGHT. Who the heck wants something like THAT? They did not supply a picture of the actual stone, BUT instead a picture of the stone that is manipulated under some special kind of light. They only accept payments through Paypal, which is notoriously difficult to use because they give NO HELP to the buyers. I am going to have to report these people to my bank and the FCC and the Attorney General. It is SO FRUSTRATING to be confronted on almost a daily basis by SCAMMERS AND CON ARTISTS who mislead people deliberately. Anyway, you can't trust these people AT ALL.
