After looking at vehicle specific things the carista could do on my car ( checked on there website) the 2 things I wanted were

1) Adding mph on to digital dash
2) Add needle sweep on start

Both of which where shown when selecting make model and year. So I parted with £60 as these 2 things were worthwhile.

Getting the dongle and app and trying to do these 2 things isn't possible. It gives me less info and options then the dongle I got off amazon for £8 and an app from playstore for £3.

Definitely stay away from this product as they don't offer they say they do

Complete rip off with their extortionate subscription which you have to use to be able to read any fault codes or clear them. Luckily I purchased from Amazon and returned the same day, otherwise I would have ended up with an very expensive useless piece of plastic.

An absolute rip off. Have increased subscription price by a significant amount and offer no additional benefit. Wouldn’t waste your money, look elsewhere!

I bought the Carista OBD - Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner from Amazon and the one month Pro subscription from Carista today and I already cancelled it at Google, nobody said anything about the one month trial but it's better for me to lose the $14.99 than to feel disrespected from that company every time the app change a page. The app works fine and is very easy to use but what I can't live with is their ad that is constantly showing up telling me to upgrade to a full year subscription, even though I did pay for a month of the full Carista Pro subscription. Something like that is expected from a free app but not on the paid one. Cheapy way to do business... Shame on you Carista !!!

I paid 65 for Carista evo and 60 for a year subscription. It was the biggest waste of money ever.
I got two error code 13811 and p242 but that is all I got.
The live data was very very basic and the changes you could make was very very trivial.
I feel like I have been scammed.

I paid a one month subscription, and I can't clear the error for parts I replaced. Glow plug module. Don't even see the error. All errors are seen, it shows like manufacturer error. Any error I clear, is coming back. Is for VW Tiguan 2017. I bought another OBD2 diagnostic device, and now everything is ok.

I bought Carista for my 2016 Octavia Scout to be able to deactivate the stop/start system. This worked a few mnths ago. However, have now sold the car and it's being collected tomorrow so I went to reverse the procedure but htis is not available, even after paying another £9.99. So can't recommend.

First off let me tell you that this device did not work on my 2021 Volkswagon Passat RLine. However compared to the prices of such devices elsewhere, it's a steal! But best of all is the level of support and communication I received from Leader of the Support, Ivan. He hung in there with me as he suggested many different things to try, how to do it and get back to him. He listened, was very knowledgeable and patient. The guy is class personified. I guess there will be an updated version coming to Amazon soon that hopefully will include my car but regardless this is a good place with a good product and a great guy running their Service Department. Buy Carista people, stay safe.

Great scanner at very good price. Much better than all scanners i tried in this pricerange. Ordered mine from eftermontering.se and got it delivered in 1 day!
