I was looking for a workshop manual for my Alfa Giulia Diesel. Paid and downloaded from carmanuals.org.
In the description they say: "All Engine Variants", "High-resolution images", etc.

In fact it is written in Italian (!), the images are of poor quality and my Diesel engine is not mentioned.

No reaction to my email upon this problem. Wasted $ 22 :-(

Manuals Not Worth the Money I paid for a car manual from carmanuals.org, but it was a total waste of money. The manual was incomplete, and the information was outdated. The diagrams were low-quality, and the instructions were unclear. I couldn't find what I needed, and the customer support was unhelpful. Wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.

Poor Customer Experience*: I ordered a Toyota car manual from carmanuals.org and paid $12.25 via debit card. However, I never received the manual, despite the payment being deducted from my account immediately. The lack of communication and follow-up from the company was disappointing.

On 14th November 2024 I ordered a Toyota car manual from this company on the internet, carmanuals.org. The manual was supposed to be a digital manual to be delivered by email. I paid with my debit card and the amount of $12.25, or £9.93 was taken from my account the same day in payment to 'AUTO TECH PUBLICATI', shown on my bank statement. To date, I have not received any communication from the company at all, they did not acknowledge the order, they do not reply to emails or even to the 'chat' facility on their website.

Neither did they send a link to allow me to download it.

They have NOT responded to my emails
requesting the pdf or my money back.

I hope I've learned my lesson.

Have ordered a Car Manual, made payment, received an e-mail saying payment has been received but no download link. Tried a live chat on their web site but got no response.
Received a download link 2 hours later.
Could not open the dropbox file initially as it showed it to be a pdf file. It was a zip file instead
Found that I had to download it first, then unzip it.
Finaly have my car workshop manual

I got scammed.
Payment went thru easy. The manual download not so much. The link for the download points to a page: "File not find". Scammers

I ordered a car workshop manual from them, and was immediately presented with a download link. The link just led to a page that said "File not found"

So I asked in the live chat on the website, and when I threatened a chargeback the guy immediately said "Usually orders are fullfilled within few hours of purchase as they are manually uploaded after payment completion."
and then when I threatened a chargeback, reasonably politely given the circumstances,
"However we have made a a habit of not doing bossiness with hostile customers, we have issued you a full refund. Please purchase the manual from elsewhere."
The "service person" declined to offer his name or any identifying information, and claimed not to be operating in the US at all.
Doubtful that they actually possess any service manuals at all.
