Mic doesn't work. Support is in China. Carmaspeed CX sucks

I ordered a head unit for my 2015 GMC. It looks great and the stereo sound is excellent. However, I can't get the mic to work with phone calls, and support for the issue is based in China.

I had the idoing unit professionally installed at a cost of $400. The professional installer couldn't get the mic to work with calls. I contacted Carmaspeed several times over the course of 2-3 weeks and they continued to put me in touch with someone in China who was only available after 9:00 PM CDT. That doesn't work for me. They refused to put anyone in the US on the phone with me, as I requested several times.

The rep in China instructed me to move the mic to the same column where my airbags are located.
1) That requires taking everything apart (another $400).
2) I don't want my mic to be shot through my eye-socket if/when my airbags are deployed.

I contacted Carmaspeed asking for someone in the US to call me and assist. They refused and finally sent me a rude email offering to refund my money upon return (another $400 for removing their unit and re-installing the original).

Now, I'm stuck with a head unit that can’t place handsfree calls.
