No response from the company

I brought a hpi check from the company as the car that I wanted to buy showed up on their system. The check didn't really show any issues apart from the engine cc was 1. I also brought another check from the rac, which didn't show any issues with the car.

I have asked them why the car was on their website, but I still don't have any response from them, and they won't take the car off their website.

Seems like a waste of £15.

Fighting fraud in the motor industry

It's a geniuses solution to spot a lemon.

If a car has an uneconomical fault it will keep on getting flipped from dealer to dealer until some poor member of the public gets lumbered with the lemon!

This is the only service anywhere that allows you to spot if a car has been flipped.

If the report comes back without any info, the car is worth buying. If however your report comes back showing lots of info, it a lemon!

I don't think the others that left bad reviews understand they've probably just saved thousands by not receiving much info back lol

Charging for adverts that are free to view?

As above.
This company charges you £10 to find the sales history of certain vehicles.
However I totally disagree with the way they conduct business and make their money.

One simple question, is it fair charging to view information and adverts that are free for the public to see anyway? NO.

If an advert is listed on gumtree or eBay then that's where it's listed, it doesn't mean that a 3rd party should use this to there gain, financially of course.

Maybe it's just me and I'm missing the bigger picture.

1 star for the effort.
