DO NOT ORDER from this webpage

DO NOT ORDER from this webpage. As another person wrote, you make an order, get a confirmation but nothing else. When you send an email to the address xavier it bounces right back, and a phonecall ends in voice mail. Every-single-time. No idea how this webpage continues to exist and is not closed down and the person prosecuted.

If you want to have pain in ass - buy carpets with carpetonline.be

After 2 months and a lot of emails and calls I finally received my order in full.
At the mid of February, I ordered 5 carpets on carpetonline.be. After the order I received an automatic email with the order confirmation and that's it. Nothing more: any calls, any new emails, any additional details. I waited approx. 10 days and then I decided to call to the shop and ask about my order. I was a bit shocked once I understood that it's impossible to talk to someone, no one answered the phone listed on the website. There was only the option to leave an audio message, but I wasn't sure if that made any sense. After few days of calls, I recorded an audio message. I also decided an email in English and Dutch (Thanks Google translator) to addresses that I found on the website, but still no one answered the letters. After all attempts to contact the shop, I decided to look at html code of the payment page and found that payments are accepted using the Shopify service. I decided to contact the Shopify, I explained the situation (I said that the Carpetonline.be uses their services for accepting the payments cheating, and it seems that no one want to provide the services (items) that I paid for). But Shopify said "Try to wait a bit more". Sure, thanks for the good advice. Then I decided to contact my bank and ask for the chargeback. My bank sent me the request about the transaction, then I provided all the documents that I had (order confirmation, receipt, screenshots from my email as a proof that I tried to contact the merchant etc.), so everything was ready for the start of chargeback process but I decided to start it next morning (I just needed to click the button at my online banking that I accept the policy for the chargeback procedure), so I decided to click the button next morning. Additionally I sent the message to Xavier (it seems he is the only one worker at Carpetonline.be) that I decided to ask for the chargeback. And "voi la" at the morning I received the message "We will send you the carpets this week". OK. I decided not to start a chargeback. I waited 10 days and I didn't receive anything. I left the voice message for Xavier again. few days passed - any response, nothing. I tried to call to Carpetonline again and again, and WOW! Xavier answered and informed me that "They will send your order tomorrow". Hm, who is "them"? After 2 or 3 days I received the message to my phone with the tracking number. Finally, I received the package but just with 3 rugs instead of 5. I tried to contact Xavier again and again but I didn't hear anything from Xavier anymore. So, with this 3 carpets that were delivered I found a paper (packing list) and two companies were mentioned there: "Louis de Poortere" and "Eurogros B.V.". My thoughts were "Maybe "them" is just someone from these companies"? I found the contact number for Louis de Poortere (Google, thanks). I called them. I explained the situation that I made an order with another company but I received a part of my order from Louis de Poortere and I asked for help. They said, that yes, it's them sent me a rugs, but they are producers and they haven' any relationship directly with the end customers. They said that it's better for me to contact Eurogros B.V. (because they are the company who processed my order!) and ask them for the info about my order. It was a bit strange, because I ordered a Belgian rugs on .be website from Belgian producer Loius de Poortere but I need to call to Eurogros B.V. that from Netherlands. OK. I found a contact number for Eurogroos B.V. on a paper (packing list) that I had. I called them. I explained the situation one more time. They said that they will try to help. The funny thing about this whole situation is that I was just glad that someone answered for my calls, so it wasn't a constant waste of time when I tried to reach someone from carpetonline.be. It seems to be normal, when someone calls to your shop and you answering, but apparently not for Xavier. Therefore, I had 2 hits out of 2 (both Loius de Poortere and Eurogros ansered to my calls), I was at seventh heaven. So, Eurogors guys asked for a few day and they trying to find my two more carpers. As it turned out, the delivery service (in my case TNT) just lost a part of my order somewhere. I wasn't particularly deeply involved in what happened, but I got a call from Eurogros and they informed me that they would send me the missing 2 carpets again and after will dispute with delivery service on their own. Today I received the remaining two carpets. So, what of all this: carpetonline.be is apparently an affiliate who don't care about customers, and who transfers orders for execution to Eurogros, which sells carpets incl produced by Loius de Poortere. If you want to become a person with mental illness - go and order with carpetonline.be, cause only strongest will survive.
