Very very poor service and attitude of Manager - Informed now in Receivership !!

Stair carpet webbing (edging) fraying and bottom of stars carpet coming away from stairs. Despite around 15 calls so far to the store - miscommunication, failure to a number of calls, return calls (apologies from Store Assistant), failure to contact as promised, failure of Carpet Fitter to eventually come on day promised and lastly the very rude response and lack of interest and follow up by Rugby Elliots Field Store Manager whom I spoke with today. Totally disinterested and rude.

Have lodged my second complaint to the HO so lets see how quick I get my response and my carpet on my stairs in the condition it should be in.

Really disappointed at the service received, especially the attitude of the Manager and lack of interest to resolve our issue. No customer focus at all!

4 months so far - how much longer do I have to wait!!

Following many more telephone calls and discussions with Head Office complaints department as we have had NO visit to rectify the issues - following my chasing e mail last night I have received a response from the complaints Dept stating they have now gone into receivership !!!

So I'm left with a defective carpet and no one taking ownership of the issue and rectifying for a product we have paid for in good faith and not fit for purpose!

tReigate branch recommended

Popped by chance to Reigate branch and Emily was so helpful I needed advice on laminated flooring mentioning we have a new puppy and having trouble toilet training. Emily offered me free carpet tiles I was so impressed as she went over and beyond despite no purchase today. I definitely will go back and can recommend the experience Thank you

Free home complete lack of service should be the name of this 'service'.

Booked for a home appointment for this morning. I am only available to be in mid-week occasionally . The service, which says "A professional planning and measuring service, with free samples to see in your home." did not take place, Someone came out and measured and said I could go to the store to choose. I am busy today and have a joiner in so I am not able to go to the store. I phoned customer services who were most unhelpful and said there was nothing they could do. They refused to phone the store in question (Charlton) and just said they had "explained'. They had explained nothing, they just repeated a number of times, that there was nothing they could do. They offered to send me samples but that does not fit with my time frame. When I booked I had told them a price range and colours so there was no reason why they should not have brought the samples.
A very unhelpful service and store. If you have an alternative store then I would advise you shop there, certainly do not trust this 'free home appointment' service.
I have now spoken to the store and the surveyor who came out and measured this morning. Both were pleasant but it came down to there is nothing they can do, they do not have the samples. the surveyors do not carry all the samples and this surveyor did not have any blue, grey or green samples in the 18-25 pound range. They can order them for me or I can go to the store. So my review still stands, this is not a service.

Can't rate the product it's not arrived

Online Order - website states 7 to 10 working days 15 working days later and 21 days from payment and no flooring. Contacted store on 10th day to be advised not delivered and when next delivery date will be. Contacted customer care who advised supplier issue now been picked will be sent on the next delivery. Emailed the store for an update but not heard back yet ( understand stores can get busy so was not expecting immediate response) website order form sat at created. Website still advising 7 to 10 days completly mislead by this and no update or apology for the delay any information found out has been because I sought it. Customers should be updated if a delay has occured, I have privately organised fitting which I have now needed to delay ( was booked in from website advised) now have to wait for a new date from the fitters which cannot be booked as I have no idea when the flooring will arrive in store for me to collect - mislead, not updated and really disappointed so far, hopefully the product itself will make up for something.
