This is visibly a lovely floor and feels great under foot. Unfortunately though, it is not at all suitable for a kitchen as it stains very easily. We learnt the hard way after having the new floor down for only a day. Our 3 year old dropped pasta on the floor and it's now a permanent stain (we've tried everything). Had we have known how easily it stained we would have not chosen it for the kitchen.
