Carrier Company is a small family business producing sustainable clothing, bags and gardening accessories. We design and make all our products here in the UK using traditional fabrics that work harmoniously with the environment, adapt to the changing seasons and withstand passing trends. We sell from our shop and send worldwide from our online store, both housed here in our barn in Glandford, Norfolk. Sustainability has always been a priority, which is why we have always used natural compostable materials such as jute, cotton and linen from flax grown in Ireland, where no part of the plant goes to waste. We work with wool from small batch suppliers; shorn, spun, woven and dyed in both Scotland and Ireland. Our merino hats and lambswool gloves and jumpers are made using traditional methods in Hawick, Scotland. We also work with a mill in Wales that produces organic cottons and are proud to see our longtime suppliers become increasingly receptive to our need for more sustainable manufacturing processes.

I had a wonderful experience at The Carrier Company yesterday (30th Sept 2025).
I had coveted many items over many years, but never ordered anything. Then they opened a shop where we often go on holiday, well it would have been rude not to visit wouldn't it?
I must admit to feeling a tad nervous approaching my destination, which became downright panic when I realised that I was in the presence of Carrier Company Royalty. However, I need not have panicked as this elegant lady was very welcoming and approachable and she certainly took the time to work out what would suit me by way of colours, and style, and how to dress these beautiful clothes to my advantage, which I will definitely utilise in the future. She really paid attention to detail. I definitely could have purchased a great many more garments yesterday, but settled on the amazing celtic jacket I had been hankering after for a while, albeit in a completely different colour which I would never normally have considered unless I had visited the store and received such guidance. I left feeling a million dollars and will go back again next time for the green cardigan and to be sprinkled with more fairy gold dust.🪄
I've been buying from Carrier Company for a number of years - mainly their wonderful collarless work shirts but also other things. Quality is great and they are well designed and made. The one time there was an issue they resolved it quickly. For the first time we visited in January 2024 and it was very pleasant and welcoming. We of course bought some clothes - very pleased - and there is a 10% discount if you visit. Call first to book an appointment.
Really happy with the jacket I ordered, fantastic quality. But also customer service is great, I ordered he wrong size initially. I returned on a Friday and had the correct size back with me the following Wednesday.
