If I could give ten stars I would

I am not a massive one for writing reviews but after the service received from I felt compelled to write a review.
It all started when the sink in our property cracked less than 18 months after moving in. We bought the property when it was brand new. I contacted the seller and he told us that the sink came with a 12 month warranty and wasn't covered.
We were searching for comparable sinks and whilst doing this I decided to contact Carron to see if there was anything they could do.
They asked for a few pictures of the sink from various angles, and proof that the kitchen was fitted to NHBC rules. All this was provided on the same day, and the following day I was told that the sink would be replaced free of charge, and I was asked what address it needed sending to.
The address was provided and the following day I received an email to say it had been ordered, and that it should take 2-3 days for delivery.

As if this service was not good enough (and I thought it was excellent) they added that they would pay a plumber to fit the sink. All i needed to do was to get a receipt from the plumber and they would pay the money into my account.

You cannot ask for better service that that in my eyes. I didn't even ask for a contribution towards fitting the new sink, but they offered anyway.

Awesome service that cannot be faulted. All I now need us for the new sink to arrive

DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL!

I do not often write reviews but felt compelled to do so given the recent experience. I know everyone has their own experiences but I can for sure share mine. My tap was leaking so I contacted them asking for a source of spares. they immediately replied stating the tap is guaranteed for 5 years (proof as new build via NHBC building certificate) they will dispatch for free which they duly did. I don't say this often but genuinely good, fast and polite - what not to like?

Don't expect a quick response to emails

My recently installed instant hot water tap has stopped working and now only cold water comes out of the tap. I've emailed Carron Phoenix (hot water department) and have been told that they reply to emails only after three days. If this is the case I'm going to be without instant hot water for a long time.

Their Lifetime Guarantee is truly genuine.

In 2009 I refitted my kitchen, which included a CARRON PHOENIX sink. It came with a ‘Lifetime Guarantee’ which after 12 years I put to the test. The response I got from the company was impressively fast and positive.

The sink is held down on the worktop with clamps, hooked onto metal bars on the underside. One of these had dropped off at some point gradually allowing water to get under the edge and causing the worktop to bubble up.

I got in touch with Customer Support, providing a copy of my original invoice and pictures of the problem. They very quickly replied, offering to replace the sink with one that would drop into the same cut out. There was no quibbling or delay, just a positive decision to honour the guarantee.

I asked if they would be willing to contribute to the necessary cost of replacing the worktop. I was asked to provide quotes for the work and again they were very quick, decisive and generous in relation to this cost.

Considering the sink was bought 12 years ago the response from Carron Phoenix was impressively brilliant. Their Lifetime Guarantee is truly genuine.

Desire Duo Tap - Dripping

Desire Duo tap has been installed for 6 years, and it looks fantastic together with the Vela sink. However recently, hot and cold have both started leaking/dripping so much that we have had to disconnect water supply to the hot tap. Have contacted Carron Phoenix, and hope customer service will be as good as it was for previous reviewers. Will update when a response is received.

OK, response received within 24 hours and have to pay for replacement valves. Not good enough for a tap in this price range. Should not fail within this time frame!

Quick solution on faulty tap systems

I bought a kitchen from Wickes but had trouble with water leaking away in the sink. Wickes provided the new plugs without delay. These also started to leak and I was offered further replacements. As I didn't want to rely on keep replacing plugs, I contacted Carron Phoenix direct. They immediately provided alternative plug systems, free of charge, without question and very speedily. Well impressed (with both suppliers)

Top notch customer service

Purchased a Carron Phoenix Dante Filter tap in January but delays in building work and lockdown meant plumber only came to fit it end of June. Unfortunately found a fibre washer and adapter nut missing. Rang Carron direct and I had a replacement fixing kit including the missing parts within 3 days. Absolutely superb customer service. Thank you Carron and well done. Particular thanks to Louise who was an absolute credit to the company.

Simply OUTSTANDING customer service

Around 12 or 13 years ago I bought a Carron Phoenix sink (through a local retailer) while having our kitchen re-fitted. Recently, the plug has started to leak so the water drains slowly from the sink with the plug engaged.

I contacted Carron Phoenix direct (the local retailer has ceased trading) to buy a replacement plug. What a pleasant surprise. They have sent me a replacement FREE OF CHARGE.

They clearly know how to look after customers. Not like most companies these days. Thank you Carron Phoenix.
